I'm a longtime buyer of Skullcandy speakers and this is the best one yet with superior sound quality and a super long-lasting charge. But the reason I'm here is to address the complaint that the skull logo is upside down. It's not. Simply lay the speaker on its side, with the volume buttons on top. Now the skulls on each side are right side up. And it produces better sound as the skulls are actually "base thumpers". You can feal them pulsate. Enjoy! ... show more

I really liked this mini speaker, for the price you get a portable and nice looking device which is also waterproof. The sound quality it's great and clear, it doesn't get too loud as it's a mini speaker but for a single room like a bedroom, kitchen or bathroom it does really well but also you can take it with you when hanging out with friends it will do the work. The battery life is great, connection is really fast and overall super easy to use, you just need to turn it on. The charging cable included is 3ft long and USB-A to USB-C which is really good and it includes 2 Skullcandy stickers that are really cool! ... show more

    • It has some kind of interference
Works fine if you just let the speaker by itself. It has a lot of weird interference while using your phone. Literally works fine if you just put on Spotify and leave your phone alone. But if you grab your phone to check something like social media or other apps, the interference starts. This doesn't happen with other speakers, just this one. ... show more

I bought this when I worked in fast food, and it survived the grease. Then, my boyfriend took it to work when he was baking, and it survived the flour. It survived my cold apartment. I love the sound quality and the connectivity, as it connects almost as fast as i turn it on. I ended up buying my boyfriend the regular sized terrain because he kept taking mine, lol. TLDR - do not buy this speaker, unless you want a speaker that’s quieter than your phone’s built-in speaker My confession is that I ordered this twice, asking for a replacement for the first one, because I believed that there was no way the sound quality wasn’t so bad without it having been used and returned to Amazon before. Upon receiving the second one today I made sure not to thrash the packaging just in case, and lo and behold the second one sounded just as bad. Mostly I’m criticizing the volume here. When I turned the volume all the way up I actually noticed that the volume on the speaker actually DECREASES. It hits its loudest level around 3/4 of the way up. This was the case for both of the speakers. Skullcandy usually makes quality products, and I grew up with a lot of their headphones, but this Sky Terrain Mini is not one of those.
