  • Comfortable and surprisingly bassy; great buds for a great price
After my Indy EVO buds kicked the bucket, I was looking for another Skullcandy pair to replace them. So, I decided to try out the Sesh EVO because "why not?" The Sesh are a fantastic pair of wireless buds, and I much prefer them to the Indy. The quality is great for buds, they pack a surprising bass punch that I missed with the Indy and overall have a decent range all around. I use buds at work, one ear at a time, swapping when needed, and they pair individually just fine and then pair together just as intended if both are taken out of the case. The case was my main worry when first getting the Sesh, as I had become accustomed to the Indy case, but thankfully my worries faded. The case is sleek enough to fit in my pockets and doesn't bulge out as much as I thought. It takes a little effort to open, more than you would think, so I don't feel like there is a worry of the case opening while in a bag or similar. Even if that happened, the buds themselves stay in their charging spot very well, the magnets hold them in place with ease. In ear the buds sit comfortably just like any other, the ergonomics fit my large ears out of the box. One thing to note is that the control options on the buds themselves are a tactile press, not touch press like the Indy. So it takes a more deliberate action to pause or lower/raise the volume. Battery wise they last a decent chunk of time, there hasn't been a worry there. As for charging, the case itself charges very fast but the buds themselves take a bit long to fully charge up. So prepare to leave them in a little longer than you might want. Overall these buds do everything right and surprised me in places for their price. A definite wireless bud option that works great. ... show more

  • Best ear buds EVER!
The sound can change on you while you're listening to them, it seems the volume will adjust automatically for some reason. Maybe it's my phone. The battery life is amazing. The sound while they are at a comfortable level is awesome. I had a problem with them constantly falling out of my ears, so I put on the larger river pieces and now they stay in a bit better. I bought a pair for my son because I love these so much. ... show more

  • Not the best, but definitely not the worst
I've had these for a while now and I can safely say that they are pretty reliable, if a little bland. They work well for the most part, and the sound floor on them is above average. Voices and music are clear and mostly crispy for me, and the fit doesn't cause pain in my ear. The battery on the buds is adequate enough, but it may give you issues if you also use them for listening to audio books like I do, as you can lose track of time and they're dead within a few hours. My chief complaint is that sometimes when I have them on and have my phone in my pocket, the connection will briefly drop if my arm gets in the way. It makes working out a small hassle. ... show more

  • High quality at a very affordable price!
I must admit, I expected much less and received much more. After over a year of heavy use, these earbuds are still pristine. I would dare to say, they are like new. Yes, now and then they snap out of sync and one or the other shuts off, but that is a rare occurrence. I do experience interference when walking/passing near certain antennas or even certain other phones, but they come back within a second. Battery life has been phenomenal. Build quality has been impressive. The sound quality is nothing to write home about but, it is certainly much better than many other earbuds that retail for about twice as much. Recommended, for sure. ... show more

  • Waste of money
I purchased these to replace my Jabras that were stolen, hoping to save some money on replacing the more expensive Jabras (that I did love). I thought Skullcandy was a good product and maybe it is, but the left ear bud would only hold a charge for 5 minutes at most and then shut off. I tried to follow all of the troubleshooting strategies and the left earbud never stayed charged longer than 5 minutes. The right ear bud lasted between 45-60 minutes and would die also. One of the reasons that I chose this set was that it had a built-in Tile tracker, because I have a tendency for losing things. My Jabra did not have this feature and I always wished it did. I was very excited to have this in the Skullcandy set, but when I tried to play the "chime" to find the earbuds, it was so quiet that it was a pointless feature. If the earbuds are in your pocket or right in front of you, then you would probably hear it in a quiet environment, but then it wouldn't be necessary to use the feature. I ended up purchasing another Jabra set and wish that I had just gone with that set instead of trying to save money. My return window has closed, so all that I've done is just essentially paid more for a set of earbuds by adding the cost of the Skullcandy's to the Jabras that I'm now using. I also purchased a protective case for these earbuds, so that was an extra $10 wasted. To make things more frustrating, I have misplaced the Skullcandys somewhere in my house and haven't been able to find them yet. Had the "tracking" feature to find the earbuds worked better, I may have been able to return these in time and get my money back. If you still choose to purchase these, I hope that you have better luck with them than I did. I'm sure that I just got a bad set, so you may have better luck than me if you purchase these, but be warned that if you are using the "built-in Tile" tracker as a reason to buy these, it will not work the way you would want it to. In fairness to Skullcandy, it sounds like other brands that have this feature have the same (quiet chime) issue. I ended up just purchasing a Tile device and attaching it to my new Jabra case. ... show more
