  • To small
With this you can't move your neck

  • Never had one break of it’s own fault, they have always been broken or lost
I’ve had this exact same product (save for color) before and like it because it doesn’t have a clunky plastic horseshoe that you have to deal with sitting on your neck, which especially annoys me laying down, but still is connected and isn’t just two tiny loose pods, because I almost lose these a lot as is lol. Skull candy is just a good brand earbud, the only thing that doesn’t impress me is the battery life. It’s not bad enough to make me return them, but I did order a second pair so I can have one on the charge waiting because I use them to sleep with and they don’t make it through the night on a full charge. It looks like though for a couple extra bucks they have a newer model now that has some extra features including a variable depth option as well as the existing varying replaceable rubber pieces to help better fit smaller ears or sit deeper inset or resting outside based on your ear shape and preferences... as well as extended battery life. The one nice thing though, because I needed them quickly the first time and don’t care much about color, was I ordered the first ones to get here quickly and paid a little more and then this time was able to choose the cheapest color option, save a few bucks, and it ships in a couple days. Make sure you select the ones with microphone if you plan to use them for calls as well as listening as there are various models; some with, some without. ... show more

  • Jib Wireless - in general good - sometimes tries to break my hearing.
In general I like these head phones. I have 2 pairs so I always have a fully charged set on hand. My one complaint is that occasionally what I'm listening to will stop playing and the headphones make a very loud jarring and painful sound in my ears. The painfully loud sound continues until the head phones are shut off. ... show more

  • Quality at cheap price in a sea of cheap quality
The 5-stars are for music use only. Phone use...eh, I'd give it 2 stars. So far, I've owned 3 of these. - First, black friday sale at Wallyworld; wife severed one ear/driver in a brutal fit of violent rage (or as she claims, "accidentally while cleaning"). *Note: I eventually repaired these very carefully by re-soldering the wire and enclosing it in shrink wrap. By the sound, you'd never know it was repaired. The shrink wrap is stiff, though, so it's not as good as original. Looks fine, though. This has been in service this way for over a year now. - Second, replacement pair bought on Amazon; one day just refused to power on after several months of use - Third, Provided by Skullcandy (or whoever the manufacturer is) under warranty for the ones that wouldn't power up. Trouble free ever since. I have one pair committed to daily running/workout use only. They get pretty soaked with sweat at times. So far, they've held up OK to the sweat over about 8 months. A second pair is committed to everything else; yard work, relaxing, etc. As a phone call interface...callers have a lot of difficulty hearing you. Callers sound great to you, in the earbuds, but the mic design must need a little more work, as it's not effective for conversations. Update 5/4/20: Bought these again after misplacing my current pair. Can not believe they're this cheap, yet better than earbuds almost double the price. ... show more

  • Good headphones
This is my second pair of these, bought about 3 years apart. The first ones still work, albeit not quite as loud, but I got a second pair because the battery only lasts 4-5 hours and I wanted to use them all day at work. These hold up really well. I've accidentally worn them into the shower at the gym, and my boyfriend washed his pair in the washing machine at least twice. The sound quality is excellent for a wide variety of music. For rap and pop, the vocals are clear and bass quality is better than most headphones, second only to my expensive (and huge) studio-quality headphones. For extreme metal, I can clearly hear the complexity of the songs and make out each individual instrument. For audiobooks, noise cancellation is great narrators are easy to understand even in a loud environment. The range is pretty good, I just keep my phone in the same room and don't have any problems. If I do get so far out of range that they disconnect, they automatically reconnect when I'm back in range. My only complaint is the very annoying "Low battery, please charge" message. On the older pair, this repeats a minute or two apart till the battery dies. On the new ones, it just repeats over and over and is intolerable till I turn them off. ... show more

  • Simple, Lightweight, Long-lasting = Perfect!
I have tried several pairs of Wireless Bluetooth Headsets, and this Skullcandy pair is by far the best!! They're incredibly lightweight, excellent sound quality and fits in my ears well (I'm almost 5'0"/petite). Sure, it doesn't have a volume adjuster built in, but in my experience that's what makes others soo heavy - to the point where one (earbud) won't comfortably stay in your ear! I always prefer to have one in, the other tucked in my shirt, and I can hear whatever's on the other end - should it be a telephone call, music, a TV show - still come in loud & clear. It's pretty remarkable how long this little thing has life, as well. At night, I just plug it in, go to sleep, wake up & it's fully charged but NOT to the point of over-charging. Once it's @ 100% the little light will turn from red (charging) to blue (fully charged), then shortly after, will fully shut itself off. My first one lasted Perfectly - utilized daily / rummaging around in my purse / accidental droppings - close to 3 years, til I accidentally stepped on it.. twice.. in my big ol' boots) So don't do that! Haha! Highly Recommend!! ... show more
