Description

ROBERTS 5 in. Carpet Seam Roller is specially designed to seam loop pile carpets. It hides the carpet seam by bringing the fibers together to show as little seam as possible. The steel, star wheel rollers improve the transfer of hot-melt tape adhesive into the carpet for a stronger seam, and the extra-wide head produces better pile transition over the seam.

While this tool does not work miracles and completely obscure seams in your carpet, it does do a good job at making them less visible. This tool is also good at refreshing the carpet that has been smashed down by heavy furniture. Again, not a cure-all but worth using.

I bought this product to mesh a carpet patch to avoid having to replace the entire carpet in a room. It worked very well. By rolling the tool over the carpet, the seam was almost invisible. Great product I would buy again and recommend to others.

    • High quality but, didn't do what I thought it was supposed to do.
I purchased this tool to help reduce the seam line of 18" carpet squares I installed. Carpet has about a 1/2" plus of nap so I thought this tool would blend the seams to almost invisible levels. It had no effect. Could not recommend.

I used this tool to seam my carpets along with a carpet iron. It has a nice weight to the tool and rolls nicely on the carpet helping to hide the seam. Very easy to use and feels well built.
