  • Awesome cans with three minor inconveniences
There are a million reviews about these cans so I'll keep mine shorter. Pros: haptic feedback (yes the headphones vibrate AND have lots of bass, it's not one or the other), look/style, sound quality, bass, battery life, bass, construction quality, and durability. Did I mention the bass? Three cons that keep it from being a five-star headset: 1. The max volume on bluetooth is just not loud enough for me. Given that they're not active noise-canceling, I often find myself wishing I could turn the volume up louder when I'm in the gym. 2. The volume does get loud enough using a wired connection when the headphones are turned on, however, there is a nasty hiss sound whenever music isn't playing. The hiss goes away if you turn the headphones off, but then you've got no bass. That's not what you bought these headphones for. Disappointing flaw for a $200 pair of headphones. 3. This is about the app - in my opinion the "movie" equalizer preset sounds the best, better than the one designed for music. But every time you turn on these headphones, they default to the music preset. So after turning on the headphones, you must open the Skullcandy app, wait for it to sync to your headphones, and change the preset from music to movie mode to get superior sound. Every. Single. Time. Why can't the headphones just remember my setting? Or better yet give us a customizable EQ. For recreational headphones, the bass and sound quality just knock every other option under $200 out of the park. Sony "Xtra bass" which I've used before are seriously a joke compared to these. If you're a basshead there's no other option, just swallow the minor flaws and order these now. They're not a five-star pair of cans, but I can't see myself using anything else for a long time. ... show more

  • My favorite ear defenders!
I'm autistic and I use these as ear defenders any time I have to go out where there will be too much noise, they muffle everything outside to a tolerable level and if you turn the music up (with the bass slider which I love) it's like your own little soundtrack bubble. I love these and wear them all the time! Great sound quality, love that they come with a cable, cute design too. ... show more

  • I love them, but they're not perfect.
Size: Single Color: Inequality
I thought I wrote this already, and I don't feel like typing a lot, so I'll just say a few things.... Build quality feels exceptional. The materials feel solid, texture is nice, all the moving parts feel tight, and well put together. Bass slider is nice, but overpowered in my opinion. You barely have to slide it up at all to get heavy bass, and if you go up all the way, it's just insane, like the whole headset is shaking from the intensity of it. It's kinda like 1-flat, 2-bass, 3-heavy bass, 4-extreme bass, 5-your head is a drum at a dubstep concert. My biggest disappointment, is no multi point Bluetooth connection. It only connects with one device at a time, which I think sucks, cause I regularly use a tablet for media, and then I would get phone calls. My old headset, the venue, which costs less, connects to both my devices simultaneously, and when I'm listening to music from my tablet, while riding my bike, and I get a phone call, the headset (venue) would pause my tablet, and ring the call for my phone. I'd answer from the headset, talk to the person, and then when I hung up, it would resume playing my music from my tablet. I never even had to stop riding my bike, let alone reach in my pocket, or dig my tablet out of my backpack. The Venue, also by skullcandy, made the experience effortless, and beautifully handled the 2 connections, letting me use both my phone and tablet with no hassle. Crusher Evo completely lacks that feature, only connecting to one at a time, so either I miss my phone calls, or I can't use my tablet while I'm out, I'm always disconnected from one or the other, and I hate that. I really hope they give a firmware update to fix this. I recently learned another company is adding the feature through a firmware update, so I have hopes that it's possible, if Skullcandy takes the time to do it. ... show more

  • Better than beats
Size: Single Color: Chill Grey + Fix Rapid 2 AC Adapter
Ok as far as sound goes, better than beats although a little heavier. I bought 2 pairs.

  • Earthquake! Oh wait, it’s just the bass.
I bought these for my boyfriend and he loves anything with a good bass. He was blown away how strong the bass was when he first put them on, and it was at the minimum bass level and it was really good. I’m not used to bass so when I tried them, it felt like an earthquake. And the sound was amazing! Not for me, but if you love bass, you’ll love this! ... show more

  • These are a GAME CHANGER.
These headphones are F*****G awesome. Buy them. Buy them right now. Even if they are on sale, buy them. These headphones changed the way I listened to music. The bass is so clear and crisp and it really can get brain-rattling, depending on the song your listening to of course. I was blown away by how great the quality of the bass was when I turned the slider all the way up. Absolutely no distortion at all. I never thought listening to music would be this awesome but these headphones make that happen. With the slider down the quality is meh. But your not getting these headphones to not use the slider. These headphones are specifically designed for bass heads who love the bass thumping beats when listening to their favorite songs. It’s like having mini subs for your ears. No regrets buying these. Like I said, these are GAME CHANGERS y’all, and I know you won’t regret buying these when you do. ... show more
