We have a teenager with severe disabilities and he’s never gotten out of his seat or been aggressive…. But everything changes with puberty! 😅🙃😝 We had a couple incidents that were worrisome and needed a solution that kept both our child and the driver/other passengers safe. This was a perfect, cheap solution! We don’t need to use it every time but keep it in our car finger days when he is struggling. It feel like a solution that is not overly restrictive or makes him feel like a baby. I don’t know that he really notices the days when we slip it on for his safety. Definitely a good buy for us!

This is simple and easy to use. It helps keep kids from just unhooking their seatbelt which can happen if you have a child that likes to do that. It is a little bit of a concern if there is an emergency and need to release the seatbelt quickly.

My 10yr old son is non verbal autistic. He recently discovered unbuckling his seat, while we are driving. This immediately stopped him from being able to do that. If you're having problems with your children unbuckling, I highly recommend this. Install was just putting it on the buckle. It doesn't hinder buckling them up and the key they supply, works great for unbuckling.

The red plastic keeps coming out of place and you have to be careful not to lose it, but it works well.

This is a must with carseats in the car. I've had a number of times that a passenger accidentally releases the carseat instead of their own seatbelt, and I have to reinstall the carseat while trying to wrangle the kids. This buckle guard prevents the accidental unbuckling of the carseat and also makes it much easier to feel for the buckle when buckling next to a carseat. In the future I'm sure it will come in handy for my escape artists, I mean, children when they're older. I'm so glad to have these in my car. Overall I recommend them for anyone with kids.

Not very well made. Cheap plastic and doesn't fit perfectly It's not something I would trust for a safety feature like a seatbelt. Comes in a generic plastic bag and leaves you guessing about how to use it. Granted it's not hard to figure out, but I'd like at least some written product documentation and testing on an item that affect safety features in my vehicle.
