I’m a longtime Skullcandy Crusher headphones consumer. Always love their bass boost and sound. The only issues I’ve had is it slides of my head during workouts, whether it’s bench or standing, bent over exercises. When I saw these made especially for active lifestyles I was excited to try them. Put to the test, bent over stretch they fell down to my eyes, RDL’s, tricep kick backs they’re falling off just like the others. To me, the bass isn’t as booming as the other ones I’ve had in the past. It reminds me of the Bose sound, much clearer less bass. I prefer more bass. I may return these and just get the other model I’m used to. Another thing is the fabric covers for the ear pads get wet and soggy. So if you take them off for a couple mins after sweating and put them back on they are cold and wet. I’m not sure if because of my hairstyle they fall off easier. I’m a female and wear my hair in slicked down military styles, pony tails, etc. I tighten the headphones as much as possible but they still fall off. There’s also the app to connect to the equalizer but mine never completes the set up. It just says error. I ended up returning these and bought the Evo. Much better sound and bass! While the Evo still slides I prefer the sound. I found a headband zippered cover and that seems to keep it on my head better with that added fabric. ... show more

The build quality, feel and most importantly the sound specifically the sensory bass is by far the most bass heavy headphone/earbud I have ever heard. And all of that for 120$ is crazy. My new gym headphones without a doubt.

The only complaint I have on these is the fit. I bought them to work out with…run, lift weights, etc…and the second I lay down or lower my head to do a specific exercise the headphones slide right off every time. Everything else is great about then I just wish they clamped better.

I purchased these and the ANC 2. I wanted it to be these due to the ear cuffs a little better for working out since I primarily got them for the gym. They aren't the leather type like all the other over ear options. BUT... the ANC 2 uses the Skull IQ app which allows more customization (even for the buttons), which is a very key desire of mines. I was hoping the regular skullcandy app had that feature, since these aren't compatible with the skullcandy IQ app, but unfortunately not. So I decided these are the ones I had to return, and I kept the ANC 2. I was very close to just keeping them both, since they were both on sale and I love that white/cement like color. Aside from the app and customizable options not being what I wanted, the overall headphones themselves are solid, especially if you catch them on sale and the button setup as they come are no issue for you. In that case, I would definitely say they are great. The base response is just NEXT LEVEL, on these, the ANC 2 and the crusher EVO, all from Skullcandy. But I just chose the ANC 2 for more customization. You will likely want to use the EQ options regardless on all of these headphones to get more balance as these seem to be made for those who are crave bass. Fortunately, they all have a control wheel or slider dedicated to bass control so you can have your normal nice bass you expect from most headphones, or get turn up bass to the point you are almost overwhelmed by it.
