Bought these to mic up my drum kit at church. It has enough adjustability to reach above snare and floor tom. I could actually go higher or longer if I wanted to. The base is very sturdy and stable. The only thing that I think could be improved is I had to tighten it A LOT for it to not spin around. But other than that it’s 4/5! ... show more

So its top notch quality except for a few minor details. A. It's a bad height. At its maximum height I have to do a 90 degree bend over for it be anywhere near sound projection placing, sitting down. It's not tall enough or can stand in a way to put on a table. I mean its inbetween knee and hip height. It's weird and I didnt expect that. B. Its legs dont seem to hold in any position but completed extended flat which means they cant help the height issue. C. As soon as I put a microphone on the thing it started to topple. It cant handle the weight of a single microphone. In any position, I had to put weights on the other side of it to counterbalance. ... that being said the parts look very sturdy and everything connects well and I doubt the stand itself will ever break even if it falls down a lot.
