This miniature boom stand is just the ticket for mic'ing a kick drum or a guitar amp. I've used it for both on multiple gigs at this point. Stays in place, easy to adjust, and well made. Great item.

So its top notch quality except for a few minor details. A. It's a bad height. At its maximum height I have to do a 90 degree bend over for it be anywhere near sound projection placing, sitting down. It's not tall enough or can stand in a way to put on a table. I mean its inbetween knee and hip height. It's weird and I didnt expect that. B. Its legs dont seem to hold in any position but completed extended flat which means they cant help the height issue. C. As soon as I put a microphone on the thing it started to topple. It cant handle the weight of a single microphone. In any position, I had to put weights on the other side of it to counterbalance. ... that being said the parts look very sturdy and everything connects well and I doubt the stand itself will ever break even if it falls down a lot.
