    • Awesome!
I have been shaving my head with various razor blades for the last 20 years. I finally decided to go the electric razor route because I was sick of the process, cuts, and irritation. I came across the Pit Bull line while conducting some research. I did not want to spend too much money, but I also wanted to go with something that received solid reviews. I watched a number of videos reviews to make a decision. I chose to purchase the PitBull Gold. I have been using the PB Gold since early June. For weeks, I was shaving dry and I was very pleased. I had both the 3 blade and 4 blade attachments. While it was not as close as an actual razor blade, I was happy because I could shave anywhere and it saved me a ton of time. I came across the Carver 5 Head Blade and invested in that replacement blade. It actually made quite a difference and I was getting an even better shave than with the 3 or 4 bladers. Early on, I started wetting my face and head slightly before shaving and that helped improve the results. About a week ago, I decided to add shaving cream to the routine. I highly recommend that anyone who has not used shaving cream to immediately do it. I have been getting a nice, clean shave that rivals a shave with a regular 6 blade razor. Couldn't be happier and I'm done in about 1-2 minutes. Easy clean up and I save a bunch of time. Overall Quality - It's light and does not seem very sturdy, but as long as you do not drop it, clean it regularly, and do not submerge the entire unit in water, this should last. You have to take care of things and they'll take care of you. Battery Life - EXCELLENT. I can go weeks without charging this if I want to. I only use a few % of charge for each shave. I shave every day. Shave Quality - Very good dry or wet. Highly recommend using shaving cream combined with the Carver 5 Blade Replacement blade. This has given me the closest shave. Irritation: Little to none on my head and face. The only irritation I experience is on the lower part of my neck, both the back and the front. Otherwise, no nicks, very little irritation. Recommendation: If you don't mind spending $100 plus, I recommend this to anyone who is looking to be rid of razor blades. The PB Gold has been great. I suggest buying the Carver Replacement (5) Blade for best results. ... show more

    • Great Shaver
I have used th Skull Shaver for quite some time and I am quite happy with it. This product is the replacement head for the shaver itself. It was very easy to replace. No hassle at all. It performs as well as the original head with a smooth shave every time with no nicks. Keeps my head shaved close each day. Would recommend this product ... show more

    • Good blades
This model of blades is ok. They are not bad but also not the best option to choose from. The price was awesome, which makes the purchase a good one. It does flex well and is very comfortable when using it. Provides no irritation. Cleaning it is cumbersome but it's no big deal. It's a good purchase.

    • Great head shaving blade
I shave my head daily with this blade on a skull shaver pro. The blade works very well to trim my head it is not as easy to shave my face because of the blades over size and curved shape. It does do both and i clean daily with soap and water. Keeps sharp and does hold an edge. I will buy again

    • Not what you might expect...
While the product was 'ok', the quality feel was lack-luster. Also, I can relate to a previous review stating how the spring part of assembly came apart and was too much of a hassle putting back together, and wound up throwing it away. I found myself doin the same. The 'fifth' shaving head was never accessible and just added to the frustration when cleaning. I suspect it was not a real head. The original Pitbull 4-headed shaving attachment is much better in all ways, accessibility, cleaning, and performance. Sorry guys, truth be told. ... show more

    • Great Shave, Terrible Cleaning Design
So I've boughten various blades for my Pitbull Gold and this one has to be without a doubt the most PITA one of them all. To be clear, I'm reviewing the Skull Shaver Carver 5 Head as it appears people are confusing or mixing up reviews within each blade head. The one prior to this that I've used and bought a replacement for which costs around 50 bucks was the design where you just snap half of the head off to easily drop out shaved hair and give it a wash. Everything comes apart as one whole piece. Super easy. Snap off, snap back on. This particular one I bought is like taking apart an individual Rubik cube piece. It is such a PITA to remove each individual blade and wash them. Like, if you thought you were saving time with your shave, you now need to add time to clean it properly. Add to the fact, I apparently lost one of the posts that connects to the motor to spin the blade and has a spring around it. Thus one of my blades doesn't even turn at this point. I blame that on how stupid it is to remove each piece and even worse to to try and snap them back in. Horribly designed. Now if you're paying attention to stars, I did give it at least 3 for value and that was because for the price, I guess you're getting what you paid for. It still offers an awesome shave and does a great job at that. Though once the shaving is over, the cleanup truly sucks on this particular head. I even gave comfort a 5 star because again, it works flawlessly to cut. Do your research and pay a little more to get the heads that allow easy cleaning. Whether it has an easy mechansim button that opens all blades together but they don't come off individually, or the other one where the entire head splits in half allowing you to remove it with 1 easy click to clean it. That alone is worth the extra $$$ and reason I'm already ordering a replacement on a 2 week old head. ... show more
