Very easy to install, will work on a wide range of bikes due to design. I have a bike with an incredibly thick carbon top tube, and it still fits perfectly. I'm not sure why people think this is too small - a lot of mountain bikes use one MUCH smaller than this. If you want a full front fender, then get a full front fender. This is not a fender, it is a mud guard - different thing. Fenders are meant to completely contain water at the tire, and have practically zero clearance. They have to be very carefully installed if you want to get the best performance. Mud guards like this are basically just a cheap piece of plastic that keeps 80-90% of the spray off you. It's MUCH better than nothing, and it can be taken on and off in a matter of seconds, whereas a real fender requires like 10 minutes and tools. ... show more

Works well at keeping most water off my bottle, pants, and drive. Very easy to attach and remove as needed, the rubber attachment bands are fine but not great, zip ties would solve any future failure. It’s not a full fender, don’t expect that level of coverage. But price is great compared to most anything (except DIY cutout from a big plastic falling bottle and zip ties) very good for around $7. ... show more

I bought this fender to protect myself from 'splash forward' from my back wheel. I recently bought the SKS Race Blades but they don't have coverage from the seatstays forward, and didn't want my tires throwing cruddy water all over my water bottles and legs/feet. This did the job for a low price, but with some slight modifications. I had to cut off the mount standoffs on both the front and back sides so the fender did not hit my wheel. The fender is just skinny enough that my feet don't hit it, but still keep the water off me and my water bottles. The included mounting straps were easy to use, and could be trimmed shorter so they don't get in the way of the wheel. The Pacific North West can be a brutal place to bike commute in the winter, but this fender makes it a little better. ... show more

It’s a clip on front bicycle fender. I’ve only been in one rain storm so far but this “fender” worked pretty well, actually. I have a rear add on fender,as well, from the same company that I like. The front “fender” is held in place by 2 rubber straps. Yeah, I like it.

I needed something to protect my Bafang Mid Drive Motor from dirt/mud/splashing etc. Although this is initially for regular bikes it fits perfectly around the bottom of my Ebike frame, also included pictures to show.     • Easy mounting, limited effectiveness in rain
Mounted easily on my touring bike. No noticeable interference with my pedals or my down tube shift cables. Haven't ridden in rain yet to judge it's effectiveness but looks like it will do just fine. Hopefully the rubber mounting straps will stand the test of time. Update:Oct 2017, downgrading to 3 stars While on a tour I rode over three hours in a heavy rain storm. Also used it on the GAPCO where I had to trek through 30 miles of puddles and mud. From those experiences I can tell you this fender's effectiveness is limited at best. In fact, during heavy rain, any time I turned the bike the fender dumped the rain wash directly onto my bike shoes. The fender is good for keeping the occasional crud off your frame (as long as the wheel is pointed straight), but don't buy it expecting it to keep you dry. This was just what I was looking for. This is a solid nicely designed piece of equipment. It locks on firmly and stays in place even at top speed. Easy on easy off I don’t usually need a fender, but when I do this works great. I had tried another brand that looks good in the photos but turned out to be flimsy and awkward and more expensive. Easy to install and does stay in place, but not meant to wider frames. I got this for my mountain bike. I'm keeping, because it works fine as is, but it would have been nice if the groove worked better with my mountain bike. Oh well! Great product for the price for sure!!!
