Buffalo in winter. This is fantastic. Power enough for 6” of snow clearing. And boy does it launch said snow. Easily 15 plus feet and further. 10” sweep is a tad small but workable.     • poor man's snow blower
we got snow this morning so I decided to bust this out and give it a go. We have a massive and steep driveway so shoveling it is something I personally dread every year. This seems to thrive more on thicker layers of snow- I'd say anything <1 inch you're better off scraping it away with a real shovel and tossing some road salt to melt the rest. For thicker layers, I think this performs pretty good. If you have a super big driveway with a bunch of snow, you're probably going to have to charge this a few times. It has about 30 mins of nonstop usage, which might not be enough for bigger jobs. Cons: 1) I wish there was a way to direct the output of snow. It was windy today so half the snow blew back in my face while using this. If there was a way to turn the output to the side, it would've made things a bit nicer. The manual advises you account for wind direction, but you often really don't have a choice when the wind is blowing in every direction. 2) It was straightforward to use but having to hold onto the power button for extended periods of time did wear out my hand. I can't imagine it being comfortable for older people with weaker hands or people with arthritis. 3) it could've been wider so the job got done faster. Pros: 1) It eliminates the need to toss the snow that sits in your shovel, which can save people from throwing their backs out. Overall it's decent, but if you want real magic for your driveway , I think chipping in a bit more for a low tier snow blower is the better move. If you just want this to clear some walkways or stairs, this is a fine option. I'd give my experience with it a 6.7/10 ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Bought 2 of these recently, I’m impressed with how well they work. About 1 1/2-2” of snow.

    • Surprisingly effective!
Finally had a chance to use this, and maybe my expectations were a little low, but this is surprisingly effective for such a small (and rather inexpensive) snow shovel. The battery life was fine for my needs path from door to garage and shed), so no issues there either. Given the width that it shoots snow, I found myself using a couple passes - 10 inches isn't a ton of space. I wish it would've come with some sort of deflector shield - while it shoots snow effectively away, a deflector may have helped when there are gusts of wind. Nothing a 3D Printer won't be able to take care of. All in all, a good snow shovel to get the job done in small areas! ... show more
