Initially I was a little hesitant to order this having heard some bad things about numerous battery powered blowers. I read some reviews and took the chance, and am pleased that I did so far. (Just over a month) This is not meant to use for a landscaping business of course, but for my purpose of keeping my long driveway, and porches clean and free of leaves, it works perfect. I also use it on the pool deck, and for blowing leaves off of the screened pool cage top. It does the job perfectly. Lastly, the battery life is better than I expected, and I love the ability to dial the airflow up and down at the touch of my thumb. Speaking of thumbs,.....this gets a thumbs up from me! Update: Almost a year and a half old, and still working as new using almost daily for one thing or the other. Update 2: Two months short of three years old, and the battery started leaking some black, sticky fluid. Did some searching, and it seems this is a common problem with their batteries. ... show more

I live in a house with a long 3 story outside staircase and I love this blower for cleaning it off. What used to take me 30 minutes to sweep and put in a dust pan now only takes a few minutes and it is much cleaner. It's also great for blowing out out debris around windows and doors and blowing off bugs as the bobo's are a real pain and swarm and land on my patio in the summer months. Sure there are more powerful, costly, and heavier electric battery blowers but it has good blower power and battery life for the money to do the job around the house. ... show more

I love my new Skill blower! It is really powerful and has variable speed control which is great. The battery has a long run-time so I can get my entire yard, patio and driveway done and still have battery charge left! The unit is well balanced in your hand and is easy to handle, and I'm 81 years old. Recharging the battery is a snap and fully charges in 1 hour or less.
