Good grinder

It's a good grinder, I like the shield, I usually take off, but it's easily movable, this takes size 7/8 - 4 1/2 cut off disks and grinding disks. It's good, does as a grinder is expected and is plenty powerful.. one suggestion for improvement would be a bigger trigger switch, but it's okay, could just be better, still gets a 5

The 4in angle grinder is priced very well, and it's a great brand an durable.

Need a couple extra bits
Style: 6A Angle Grinder
Grinder works well, you need to get an extra washer (5/8” hole) if you want to use a cutting disk as the flange does not lock down that far. Also the flange got stuck and during removal process the locking pin broke and Skil does not offer a replacement part. You’ll also need a thin 17mm wrench to grab the lower flange should the pin break. Otherwise everything is totally fine for the price

Works great - good price I now know why this angle grinder is so popular. This angle grinder works excellently. With a cutting disc it cut right thru thin gauge metal with ease. It feels solid as well, and tbh it is fairly light weight and easy to grip. Ive read some say the power button is a bit cumbersome but almost right away I got used to it and its benefit is that it is very easy to power off. So basically what I like about this SKIL angle grinder -relatively light weight -relatively easy to handle / grip -handle can be screwed (threaded) on either side and the top (3 positions to attach the handle) -the wrench for changing discs is conveniently incorporated into the handle -smooth engine / smooth sounding and "feeling" when in operation -tried and true many many people use this grinder and most give it a high rating -good price -overall works great -if it should matter it looks cool (opinion) I highly recommend this angle grinder. It is relatively low priced, it works well and it is very ergonomic with its handle being able to attach three different areas (right, left, top), girth not too wide to comfortably grip and (again) it is relatively light weight. Comfortable to use. Id also recommend some over the ear hearing protection / attenuation it is pretty loud over the ear type will make taking on and off very easy (Walkers NR34 right here on Amazon work well fyi). Good stuff right here from SKIL. Highly recommended.

Best value angle grinder

My first skil angle grinder lasted probably 15 years and was heavily used before it went out. For the price you can't really beat a skil. Cost half the price of a dewalt and does the exact same thing. Save some money

Good grinder

I had a ryobi one for 10 years until my new dog chewed through the chord while building her pen (it was not plugged in). Home depot price has doubled since then. I looked at this and bought right away. It's more powerful, works as intended, and I like that you can adjust the blade guard positioning.

Way more than I needed

Needed to cut/grind down some screws and nails that were sticking up and out from a previous home owner and this was way more than I needed to do that. It cut'm quick and easily. I'm sure I'll find more projects to utilize it.
