That is to say, the heal is designed for you to shove your foot in without fear of smashing and deforming the heal. Easiest shoe I ever put on my feet. Wears very comfortably, even with composite toe cap. Feet remained dry, even thru deep puddles. The original insole was comfortable enough, but I got some upgraded insoles suited for my orthopedic needs. Valsole works for me. Unless there's a better slip-on work shoe that comes out, I'll buy this one again. ... show more
