These things are amazing!! My 2 year old daughter was like Bambi on the ice before the skateezs. She couldn’t stand on her own at all. It was super discouraging for everyone. Until we got skateez. She can now stand on the ice on her own and begin to build confidence. Obviously she’s not a pro skater right out of the gate. She cannot glide yet and she still falls here and there. It’s hard to overstate what a waste of money these are. I bought 2–one for my 2 year old and one for my four year old. It was difficult to even get them apart to put on the skates because the plastic is so cheap. I could barely get them to snap together on the 4 year old’s skates. Also, they don’t touch the ice so it’s difficult to understand how they would help a new skater stabilize. If the kid wobbles, these are not going to stop the from going down.     • Great Product. Not what we needed
The product is build and designed well if you need balancers for your skates. I learned for my 4 year old her feet would always be so close that they were running into eachother. This caused her to trip more than learn to skate. Great product just keep in mind they stick out from the skates a little so for little kids just get them a chair to practice with instead. ... show more

    • Save your money.
It was a great concept but the plastic is cheap and they were hard to get apart/together, they didn't fit the skate properly because there wasn't enough room for the block. My 4 year old seemed to get fetched up on them more often than not and my 7 year old had one snap and break. I guess the old metal folding chair is still the best learn to skate accessory. :) ... show more

Like training wheels for skates. Know the 45 or less degree installation angle, read the instructions, fit them on skates and watch a first timer build confidence because they are standing..

I dont know if my kids were too young (5&7) but these didn’t provide any balance at all. This was only my kids second time ice skating also, so possibly they need a little more practice.

Like. My 4 year old granddaughter was able to stand with the braces. Just wish they came in a vor other than pink. Would like some for my grandson. He wants black or blue.

    • Good idea, bad product
This product is not working at all. UnWaste of money. Not enough sturdy, loosens in a minute. Maybe it should be different material and be more secure.
