Just installed today in place of a set of Skar coaxials. Nothing wrong with the coaxials besides the fact that they’re coaxials. But I absolutely LOVE this component set. Very good quality sound. My only “gripe” with these are that the silk dome tweeters are very sharp sounding compared to a lot of other silk domes I’ve used in the past. I mean you could almost confuse them for aluminum domes. But overall they’re a really nice set of speaker. Attaching pictures, still in progress as I said I installed today. Just have to clean up the look a little. Had to make a few modifications considering my car comes factory with 4” in all doors. The coaxials I had before were also 5.25’s but the magnet wasn’t as deep as this component set. The tape is holding in the speaker gasket by the way. ... show more

I got these in place of a set of CT sounds Meso components that blew in less than 1 week and these sound much better by far the CT sounds were just more heavy on mid bass... update 3 weeks.later both tweeters.burnt.out I was only.pushing with 125 watts rms

    • Crisp and clear sound come out of these speakers!

The sound that comes out of these speakers/tweaters is crisp and clear. Sounds great! It's worth the investment. Although one of the tweeters doesn't work. I tried troubleshooting and it's definetaly a bad tweeter. Also the glue came undone on one of the speakers, before install. I glued it back together with ease. I'm giving a 3 star because of those issues. If I can get my tweeter replaced without having to send it all back I will give a 5-star review because it sounds great. I will also buy more products from Skar Audio if I can get this tweeter replaced. ... show more
