Bought a set of the 4" for my 1993 mercedes 300e. I'm running a single 15" resilient sounds platinum series in a 4th order blown through the rear deck. I bought the skar rp2000. 1 to power it until I could afford something bigger but have had zero complaints. It's been an absolute tank, I run the thing Hard and it's more than turned me on to skar audio. I had to upgrade door/dash speakers to try and keep up and amazingly these do it off head unit power. I'll have my 4 channel back in next weekend and will update with POWER! I've honestly heard better, but nothing compares for the price point. They even threw in a skar decal that was a sweet little bonus considering the amp didn't come with one 🤣👌 great buy. If they go bad I'll re update as well, I run my audio equipment hard daily so they will absolutely be put to the test. ... show more

Replaced a 1992 3.5" paper cone with a 2026, 4" Skar. Clarity with next to no distortion. A/V receiver pushes it without worries. Better than new!

These little speakers impressed me right out of the box. The construction is solid, the terminals are clean, and the cones have a tight, responsive feel you usually only see in higher‑end components. For their size, they deliver surprisingly balanced audio — clear highs, no distortion at moderate volume, and enough low‑end presence to make small enclosures sound full instead of tinny. My son‑in‑law put a pair of these into a miniature toolbox radio he built, and they were a perfect match. The dimensions made the install easy, the impedance lined up with his amp board, and the speakers handled the enclosure volume without any rattling or resonance issues. I got these for my buddy for his truck they fit nicely into his oem spots. Easy to install and pretty well built the basket seems to be holding up pretty good. They do start to distort at rms power at volume 20 on a ute-73bt. They hit a good range with the mid and silk dome tweeter. No to bright but not terrible for the price. They do have a clean look and my buddy does love the look. They are taking about 25 watts each and they seem to like that a lot better anything over 30 and they start to loose sound quality. ... show more
