We ordered the black in his regular size - 11. He does not have typically wide feet, but we chose the wide option, based on suggestions and reviews. It was definitely a good choice! I purchased my first pair of Rockports in 1984. They were my first "real" dress shoes. Over the years they have been consistently superior to most of the other brands I've tried. I'm amazed that they still offer top notch shoes at a reasonable price! This latest pair have far exceeded my expectations! REAL leather uppers (not bonded) make a difference, and although you can find knockoff dress shoes for considerably less, they won't last, fit, or look quite like the real thing. Do yourself a favor, try a pair of Rockports first, and save some time. ... show more
