Recently purchased a 2026 RAM 2500 which came with the Alpine 9 speaker system with subwoofer. The factory sound was horrible! I took a chance on purchasing these speakers to help bring some depth of sound into the vehicle. I was not sure about the mounting depth of the speakers for the dash, center dash, and rear headliners. I did a little research and took a chance that these would fit. Bingo! They fit great!! The sound is a huge improvement over the factory speakers. Everything has brightened up quite a bit and vocals sound cleaner. The only drawback is the ohm resistance. These are at 4ohm while the factory speakers are at 2ohms. Albeit not noticing a big difference in volume. Other than that, I would recommend these speakers for any upgrade. ... show more

For an average everyday driver, this speaker will work out just fine. The downside is the size and depth of this thing may not fit any car and you might need to mount it on top of the grille instead of hidden in the dash. The midrange sounds abit hollow and tweeter sounds not as real and "crisps" like others. If you are a person who's into good sound and have installed car audio in the past , this speaker might not cut it . For everyone else, this speaker will do the job since the price is so low that is hard to beat. ... show more

For a decent price these speakers are really nice. Very articulate in the high frequencies and thumps the mid bass. The price is a great value. I almost bought speakers four times the price but tried these. I have very picky ears for sound quality and these speakers are very satisfying.

Great audio upgrade over factory, they sound 100 times better than before. Only negative thing, the skar tweeter is far bigger had to force them in between the window and dash. Once I forced them in with out breaking anything they bolted right in, and the grille snapped right in and fit in place over the tweeter. And worked good with the red wolf wiring harness they were on the correct polarity. I’m still amazed how much better they sound in my ram 2500 bighorn. ... show more

I consider myself an audiophile and I have installed systems in all of my cars over the past 30 years. I've used all sorts of premium products from Alpine, Rockford Fosgate, JL Audio, MB Quart, Kicker, Hifonics, Audio Control, and many others. I used a pair of Skar tweeters in my son's car and was quite impressed with the sound and durability. So I decided to use nothing but Skar products on my 2020 Corolla. The build quality and performance is remarkable. I installed 3.5s in the dash and rear deck (custom install). Running them parallel with 6.5s in the front and rear doors gave me 300 watts per channel from the amp. I also used a Skar 10" sub in a vented enclosure with its own amp pushing 1200 watts. Using the stock head unit, I sent all the signals through a Skar 7band eq. The 3.5s are the star of this show. The midrange volume they added was amazing. I could have used tweeters instead of the 3.5s, but 3.5s gave me a more round stronger stage in my mix. For under $40 a pair, the difference that they make is impressive! They may not be the best 3.5s out there, but they outperform any others at 3x the price. Skar makes great stuff. If you're on a budget, look no further. I'm sold on Skar car audio products.
