I flush mounted the tweeters high on the front doors and they sound crisp and clean. The bass blockers work really well. I ordered and installed the Skar NPX65 Mid Woofers, since the tweeters sound so good. I am running a Rockford Fosgate 125rms x4 amp and the speakers run great at their power rating. They are loud and compliment each other. The NPX65 mid woofers are loud and sound great with the TWS tweeters. The Kicker KS Series that I replaced were not near as loud and the mids popped, because they couldn't handle their claimed rms power. ... show more

Quit over thinking it when it comes to tweeters. For a little over $20, these are loud and crisp without being too bright, shrill or piercing. That's why I prefer silk dome tweeters. These replaced the Power Acoustik NB18 which replaced the factory tweeters. These Skar tweeters fit perfectly in the stock location of a 2021 Chevy Malibu. The NB18 was way too small. These also provide more detail in the highs. Plus, upper mids/vocals come through as well. Overall, an excellent buy for stock or massive aftermarket systems alike.     • Amazing for the price!
I have a 2000 Honda Civic Ex coupe and they fit almost perfectly into my stock tweeter mounts. I literally just put a tiny amount of super glue on the bottom and they sit right in place and look factory and sound incredible! If you have my same car or have factory tweeters I literally just cut the plug for the factory tweeters and put the plug head on the new tweeters cable and it works perfectly. There is a hiss when no music is playing but you can't hear it as soon as sound starts playing. It's not a ground issue I've tried wiring them both ways same result but a little hiss never hurt anybody! 23 dollars and it elevated my sound drastically. Not only way louder highs but no longer crackling and scratchy sound at higher volume. Completely got rid of that. If you're on the fence on getting tweeters don't be, these made a massive difference and literally cost nothing. I installed myself with zero experience so anyone can! ... show more

Built in crossover made it an even easier install. Sound quality is great, running at maybe 40% level on my amp.

    • I had higher hopes for this as I genuinely like Skar products, but was left disappointed
I've had these tweeters installed in my 2020 Honda Civic Hatchback for about 3 months now and I can finally feel comfortable to give my honest review. This tweeter set is.. okay. If you have blown out tweeters (idk how you did that but kudos) or want BRIGHTER sounds then this is for you. However, from my listening experience these tweeters are far too bright for my liking. There are many songs that when I play them I can almost hear a "tinning" sound, these things will kill your ears just purely on how bright of a frequency they play (and yes they're running on a tuned AMP with proper crossover adjustments). There were two main components that brought me to this product. One, it was made by Skar. Two, it was cheap. That's it. Far from great, but not extremely terrible. ... show more

Sons 1995 f150 has tweeters when we bought it but one was missing the other was blown. Perfect replacement and they sound good.
