Finally I found EXACTLY what I wanted. (See my hair details at end). No complaints about fragrance (very light). Controls frizz very well. Detangles very well. Defines my curls as if I have gel BUT makes my curls soft and not too heavy! (So greatly preferred to gel). I got a scoop and just put it all through my hair with my fingers, then a brush. No sections. No finger curling. No diffuser or fancy methods, lol. I am quite lazy when it comes to styling. I just want healthy hair and this is great. I got compliments daily all the way through my next wash day (day 5). Not chemically treated. Not dyed. Not damaged. Prone to dryness, not oily. A Staple for Wavy & Curly Hair – Soft, Defined, and Lightweight! I’ve tried a lot of curl creams over the years, but the Skala Curl Cream has truly become a must-have in my routine. I have 2B–2C wavy/curly hair, and this product delivers everything I look for: softness, definition, moisture, and best of all — no heaviness. From the first use, I noticed how soft and hydrated my hair felt. It defines my curls better than any other product I’ve tried, and it doesn’t weigh them down at all — which is a huge plus for looser curl patterns like mine. My hair still feels light and touchable, not crunchy or greasy. One thing to keep in mind is that a little goes a long way. If you use too much, it can get a bit flaky and look like dandruff, but once you figure out the right amount for your hair, it works beautifully. It’s all about balance! Sometimes it will leak or spill but you just have to make sure the lid is screwed on completely. I’ve even found a few different ways to use it: as a leave-in styler after wash day, or even as a light rinse-out conditioner on days when I don’t want to do a full wash. It gives my hair just enough moisture and hold to last a few more days. With this in my routine, my wash days easily stretch to 5–6 days without my curls falling flat. I also bought the shampoo and conditioner from the same line, but personally, I didn’t love them as much — I’d recommend sticking with the curl cream if you want results. You can even pair it with a mousse if you’re looking for extra volume, but honestly, it holds and defines so well on its own that you don’t need anything else.
