I Installed the head unit myself with no issues, the unit came right to life and was very easy to set up. Pairing my phone to get Android auto up and running was a breeze. It's pretty cool that it is compatible wirelessly with Android auto and Apple carplay for the price. It works very well using Android auto so far only a few times has the music audio dipped for a second but then came right back. Not once so far has Android auto disconnected which seem to have been constantly with the wired Android auto on my pioneer head unit. The display is nice and crisp and very bright but it's easily adjustable to your liking. The touch screen is also very sensitive and seems to be calibrated accurately making it very easy to use. My only complaint is the audio in terms of call quality. For some reason call audio is a bit tinny and muffled sounding through the speakers making it hard to hear what the person is saying and everybody I've spoken to on the phone using the built-in microphone as well as the included microphone have had a hard time understanding me. But overall for the price, the functionality with wireless Android auto you get with access to your maps, music, and more is very hard to beat. It connects automatically to Android auto wirelessly as soon as you start the car in about 5 to 6 seconds you see your maps and music. If you can live with the call quality lacking it's a very good unit overall. Also if you send an email to the company they can email you file to upgrade your head unit to the latest firmware as well as give you your car's manufacturer boot logo for the head unit so that it looks built in. Updating the firmware was also a breeze once you load it onto the flash drive you just plug it in to the USB port on the front and it automatically updates. They were very quick to respond to the email as well.

Excellent wireless touch screen head unit for the price. Installation was very easy in my 2007 4Runner SR5 (Non-JBL). There were a few extras I needed to purchase, I will list them below: -Toyota radio harness adapter with dash kit: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01AC7GAPO?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title -Toyota steering wheel harness adapter: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GJH4J34?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title -Toyota radio antenna adapter: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B015X33YHO?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title This unit along with these three purchases makes for an excellent upgrade. -I did NOT need to purchase a steering wheel control module in order to retain my steering wheel controls, as my 4Runner uses two analog control wires and a ground wire, located inside a plug that goes directly into the OEM radio. I plugged the REDWOLF steering wheel adapter directly into the factory wiring plug, and soldered the bare wires directly to the new radio's harness. The steering wheel wires and ground wire are labeled on new radio. I was not sure which of the two steering wheel wires connected to which two on the radio (orientation) so I twisted them together and tested before soldering. I'm not sure if it matters, because it worked first try. This head unit has a built-in steering wheel control learning system; you just connect the wires and select what the steering wheel buttons do on-screen. You need the radio antenna adapter to retain full radio signal as Toyota used two separate plugs in their OEM head unit, and this unit only has one plug. Radio quality with this adapter is high quality. The fitment is the only weak point with this unit, as I could only screw one screw into the factory side brackets on the dash kit, but it doesn't matter much. It is still snug and secure when installed. There is a small gap on the left side and the unit is not completely centered in the slot, but I will eventually get back in there to align it better, no big deal. The touch screen is very responsive and snappy. The screen has a glare in the sun, but it doesn't bother me too much. The resolution looks high and crisp, and the contrast and brightness are good. If you are not comfortable soldering the harnesses, you can use butt connectors to make the connections. The Apple Carplay feature was very easy to set up with my iPhone. ZERO wires needed. It is responsive, starts playing music automatically on startup, and the navigation works very well. The built-in microphone sounded very high quality when I tested the phone call feature - there was no need to install the included wired microphone. Customer service is EXCELLENT. Just google SJoyBring and their email is on their website. They respond very quickly, and are very helpful with any questions. Once I installed my radio and emailed them a photo of my software version, I was able to email them up to four different custom images that they included in a firmware update and emailed back to me. I was able to plug a USB drive with the firmware update into the front of the radio and the result is the custom 4Runner boot screen in the picture I included. -When updating the firmware, be sure to use a USB stick that is 32GB or less. I tried using a larger USB drive and the radio would not recognize it. You can unallocate space in the drive to trick the radio into thinking it's smaller. I definitely recommend this product, 10/10.

Mounted into a Miata NC1. Good instructions. Display is bright and readable with top down. Connects easily to Iphone Airplay with no issues. Sound is on par with after market unit it replaced. OK for 15 watts RMS per channel but adding amplifier should improve. Only issue encountered was poor fitting bezel.

"First off, I want to thank everyone who has ever reviewed anything, thanks to you all, I was able to find this beauty and rare gem of a radio. I spent countless hours searching and radios that I thought would be perfect, turned out to be a horror story thanks to people like you. I just wanted to get that out of the way, now on to the review which is why you are reading this in the first place." SJOYBRING W022 w/Qled 7" screen - Built in amp and DSP As mentioned above, I have spent countless hours searching for the perfect radio for our 2010 Lincoln Navigator Ultimate. I am going to conduct this review in the standard format, I am going to list the Pro's and Con's of this unit in sections and close with final thoughts. Lets dive in. QUALITY: PROS: This unit appears solid and sleek, the buttons on the face are stiff and sturdy, the USB ports and connections are cleverly hidden behind a plate on the front face that mimics buttons to give the unit a sleek and conformed look. The unit is shallower then most double din units despite all the hardware it packs and considerably and shockingly light. This is not indicative of quality despite my initial thoughts. CONS: Nothing to report. FITMENT PROS: The unit did fit in the dash and did come with universal mounts with hardware. CONS: The size of the unit is slightly smaller than expected and left a gap when installed despite me pulling out a factory double din unit from my 2010 lincoln Navigator Ultimate with THX and NAV. A dash kit may have been required even though the listing stated if it is a double din unit that is being replaced a dash kit is not necessary. With the provided face plates that came with the unit, I was able to adjust the unit with fabricated brackets as the provided brackets did not work for my vehicle and was left with a 1/2 inch gap at the bottom, not extremely noticeable unless you are looking directly at it. In my situation, a dash kit would have been ideal. I do not blame this directly on the company as I should have done some research on my particular vehicle and size dimensions. Just as an FYI. SCREEN: This review is for the UPGRADED unit which comes equipped with the QLED screen. To save you some time, here is a quick reference to help you understand the difference between QLED and OLED. Excerpts taken from Popular Mechanics ( The Qled is putting a thin layer, called a quantum-dot filter, between the LED backlight and the LCD screen (that’s where the “Q” comes from). The quantum-dot filter essentially purifies the color of the light coming from the LEDs to get a better, more vivid, and more saturated color. So it’s still a conventional LCD-LED sandwich, just with a fancy quantum-dot layer in there to brighten things up a bit. OLED - OLED stands for organic light-emitting diode. In an OLED screen, the pixels emit their own light, which means there’s no need for the LCD screen to display the image. There are three so-called “micro pixels” in each OLED pixel, corresponding to the red/green/blue color matrix used to produce colors. NOW THE DIFFERENCE: QLED Screens have better brightness thanks to the quantum-dot filter. That makes them better for rooms and spaces with higher levels of ambient light, like a living room with a lot of windows such as cars and automobiles, and OLEDs have better image quality and contrast displaying deeper blacks but can be problematic in sunlight due to the lack of brighter whites. Both QLED and OLED are far superior to traditional LCD and LED screens.) This means that the screen that SJOY decided to use was the best choice possible in my opinion and truly shows. PROS: This screen is BEAUTIFUL, and I mean BEAUTIFUL. The colors pop and so vivid and strong, the detail this screen can show is stunning. The screen is extremely responsive with virtually no lag and I believe this is due to not only the hardware but also to the operating system they decided to use. CONS: Not a single gripe or complaint. INTERFACE: PROS: The system is clean and neat, very similar in my opinion to Apple. No unnecessary clutter. Once connected to bluetooth and carplay, the unit automatically connects and loads up to both the navigation and music in an attractive format without user input. Your apps appear on the home deck and accessed easily by switching cards. The USB automatically loads up when inserted for easy access to your files rather it be videos, photos, and/or music. There is so much customization that you could do that it could take you a while to go through all the settings and tabs. CONS: Again, not a single gripe. especially considering it has its own unique operating system, very similar to how amazon has their own iteration of android as their unique operating system. SOUND: PROS: With a built in amp, I cannot express in words how good and powerful this unit sounds from stock with no amp pushing four speakers. The sound processing this unit does with the built in DSP is amazing. Considering my 2010 Lincoln Navigator has 14 THX speakers, needless to say, this unit couldnt nor would I expect it to, push all of those. It has a 4 channel amp built in and does great for the average set up. I did test the unit pushing my four door speakers which had 6x8 woofers and full range speakers and it sounded great even at high volume with no distortion or loss of quality. I then disconnected them and went with an aftermarket 3,000w 5 channel full range amp to push all of my speakers and subwoofers thanks to all of the connection possibilities provided on the back of the unit. What impressed me was the head-units DSP which allowed me to tinker with my levels to get my sound sweet spot. I came from a generation where almost every vehicles radio was replaced with an aftermarket radio. Considering what the sound quality was when connecting speakers directly to them Vs Speakers with this unit is no comparison. Depending on your set up, I would dare say that an amp would not be necessary as the sound quality is that great. INSTALLATION: PROS: This unit comes with everything you would expect and with basic wiring knowledge, it is simple and easy to install. Outside of the user's manual, all connections and wire identifications are also labeled on the unit itself, which is convenient and uses the standard for aftermarket wiring. ATTENTION: For my setup on my 2010 Lincoln Navigator and most vehicles 2005 and newer requires CanBus adapter wiring harness and Steering wheel control adapter wiring harness to install without creative wiring for ACC power via grounds and fuse panel wiring. The traditional wiring in the past goes out the window as far as avoiding the Phantom battery drain and power issues. Do yourself a favor and get the CanBUS adapter wiring harness, however there are tutorials available to wire this yourself, but risk mis-wiring or have a messy install. All this depends on your experience, ability and budget. HERE IS THE CATCH!!!! I purchased the CanBUS wiring harness that allegedly allowed me to retain my factory amp. The wiring is identical to the old days as far as connecting the harness to your new headunit, easy peezy. It plugged seemlessly to my factory wiring harness, BUT GUESS WHAT? no sound. Thanks to Lincolns THX4 setup, it wasnt possible to retain my amp despite the claim. SO WHAT DO I DO NOW? I have 14 speakers and woofers that I need to work. Outside of this units beautiful sound for 4 channels, I wanted more. So I bought an aftermarket amp, 3000w full range 5 channel amp with DSP. GREAT RIGHT? Now how to bypass the factory amp as the harnesses were no longer valid. BREAK OUT THE WIRES: So if this applies to you and you find yourself in my boat, here are some pointers. If you bought the canbus wiring harness and plugged everything in and you are bypassing the factory amp, the provided amp turn on wire provided in the canbus harness will not work. You will have to snip that wire and use the amp turn on wire (Blue and white) from the head unit itself. Works perfectly. I was able to find an AMAZING wire identification guide posted by someone on a forum who deserves credit but due to the posting being so old I was unable to thank him/her. This guide identified the speaker wire at the amp level not the radio level as those wires wont work. So after getting to the amp wires I was able to use the factory wiring to the speakers and avoided having to rewire all speakers. I ran those wires to the amp and BOOM, everything worked amazing. SO HOW DOES THIS AFFECT THE HEADUNIT? Here is where this headunit shined for me. After connecting everything and despite the amps DSP, the sound was great but flat, with no dimension or depth. SO what to do? I went into the headunits DSP and was able to adjust every frequency individually. What an amazing feature!! and what a job well done this unit did. The sound matched and exceeded the quality of my factory THX4 sound system. I connected my amp via the RCA outputs on the back of the headunit. I cannot express in words how amazing it sounds. CONS: Hahahahaha, Nope. In conclusion, BUY THIS UNIT. The customer service is one of the best I have communicated with. They even replied to me on SUNDAY and MONDAY which was a holiday. They are amazing. All via email which is usually slow. I hope this helps people and again Thank you SJOYBRING, you are an amazing company with amazing products!!

The kit comes with everything you need and even included a camera. Wireless apple car play works great. Sound quality from head-unit is pretty good with my stock 30yr old speakers. Display is great. Touchscreen works as it should but there is a 2 second delay when changing/skipping songs. It’s not a deal breaker since all the other features and functions is an upgrade. Great for its value. Having an actual physical volume knob is a huge plus.

Installed in my 2003 Acura RSX with factory Bose amp and speakers. This replaces a Jensen stereo of pandemic vintage that was poor in many areas. When this Jensen stereo was installed, a Scosche interface unit was used to match speaker level outputs to the Bose amp inputs. This same interface unit was also used for the SJoybring stereo install. Now, talking about the SJoybring. - The screen is QLED and is of high resolution. So bright it does not get washed out in sunlight. - The touch response is quick. - The sound quality is as good as the OEM Bose unit which was really good. EQ works really well. - FM radio sounds real good. - The Android Auto connects quickly and works well. I was playing the radio while using Maps and the announcements were too low in volume. I was able to fix that by adjusting the volume of announcements on my android phone. Bear in mind I've had the unit installed for 1 day so still exploring. I haven't found anything sub-par yet. Still have to hook up the backup camera. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A side note. This may help someone else. I received my custom logo for my Acura and a software update. I tried to reboot by placing a needle in the "update hole" shown in the documentation. The "update hole" is shown to the bottom left of the USB port. It is actually to the top left of the USB power port located at the top left of the removable cover.

This head unit is great! Easy installation and good instructions. The Apple car play works great and connects to your phone pretty fast. The head unit has cool features like default music level so when you first turn on your car, you can set the music quiet automatically. The sound is great and i am still using factory speakers. This also comes with a rear view camera which is good quality and not too hard to install. If you want a custom logo, you have to reach out to the company on Facebook or email(they responded instantly to me). You’ll need a flash drive to update the head unit for custom wallpaper/boot logo. Great price and great product!
