I've had this bike for over a year now, it's super adorable, and it's my daily-driver to commute to work I don't go extra far typically-- by now I've clocked about 2,000 miles on it In that time and distance I've had four flat tires, three of which have required new tubes Getting the back tire off is kind of difficult, but I suspect it'd be hard for most any e-bike despite the advertising, and this is probably a me thing for taking it easy while I cycle, but I've never been able to get it to speeds over 20mph Usually, I don't see the point in pedaling given the distance I go on the daily --- which is a lifesaver I used to get to work dripping in sweat riding my old bike I'm committed to not having a car until I can afford an electric one if possible --- and this has really made it possible For a brief window I'd even picked up a second job some distance away from my house-- with this the commute was easy-peasy You can take it on busses, trains, and the like-- although it's notably heavier than a traditional analogue bike would be. Even so, it's definitely worth the haul. Make sure to lock your seat with a cable lock, someone stole the one off of mine after a month. Luckily, I had the seat from my old bike--- it looks kind of funny saying "huffy" on the back now, but at least I still have a place to sit. If you're on the fence about buying this, or any e-bike for your daily commute I really really recommend it! I love my bike! ... show more

I love my sixthreezero ebike! Riding long trails with hills are nothing but fun now when they would have been exhausting or near impossible for me. My husband had to get an ebike too to keep up with me! The bike was pretty easy to assemble—I just watched the assembly videos on YouTube—but I did need my husband to help me tighten everything adequately because I’m weak lol. I didn’t experience too much of a learning curve riding this heavier bike like some people have said in reviews, and I’m only 5’4” and 120lbs. The only thing is I can’t really pick it up safely by myself, but again, I’m really not that strong! My only gripe was that my bike was missing a single screw for one side of my front fender and it was a bit of a nightmare to find the exact size screw at the hardware store to fit it. I thankfully happened to catch this bike on sale here for $750ish but it’s definitely worth the full price if you want to bike regularly; now we bike several times a week for 20 miles at a time when I used to only bike maybe 1-3 times a year with a regular bike. We even took our bikes on vacation this year to ride on the beach! Just be aware that you will need a bike rack suitable to carry heavy ebikes (which we also bought on Amazon).     • A nice out of the box rear hub drive cruiser
As someone that has built out a custom electric bike using a mid-drive motor kit, i'll admit that this is a decent bike and not too bad of a price range if you don't have the time to build a custom bike (or just don't wanna bother). That said, i would likely not buy another rear hub drive bicycle, though it is purely due to the fact that it is much more complex to change a flat on a rear hub drive than virtually any other kind of bicycle/drive, and nothing specific about this product, only the rear-hub technology it uses. It IS worth noting that the first time my wife tried to commute with this bike, she got a flat on the way to work and had to be rescued because she lacked the necessary tools and skills to change the tire on this kind of bicycle. Even if you're skilled at changing flats, it's gonna be a pain. Aside from the usual tools, you'll need to be sure you have a small enough wrench to clear other hardware that is in the way, and you'll need to have snips to cut the zip tie that holds the power cable to the bike. I strongly suggest you remove the bike wheel once before you go on any significant joy ride so you know you are prepared to deal with a flat. Fwiw, the cause of that flat was actually found to be a sharp burr in the manufacturing of the rear wheel's rim. If you get a flat, be sure to pull off the rim tape and carefully inspect the interior of the rim for burrs or defects. ... show more
