I cannot believe the difference this mattress has made in my son’s ability to sleep. He always slept through the night. But now he sleeps without becoming drenched in sweat, thanks to the hybrid mattress with cooling gel foam. His previous mattress was solid foam and he would get so hot in it. Amazing the difference. He sleeps more solid in this bed. He says it feels more comfortable to lay in, as well. He loves his new mattress and he is not shy about complaints! The bedding fits as it should, no issues with that. Definitely recommend giving this a try for a skinny elementary aged boy, who sleeps hot on regular foam. Game changer. My daughter and husband slept on this mattress for the first time last night, and so far they are impressed. It's comfortable, supportive, and provided a good night's sleep right from the start. One thing that really stood out no them is the motion isolation. The individual pocket springs seem to do an excellent job of preventing movement from transferring across the mattress. If one person moves, rolls over, or gets out of bed, the other person notices very little disturbance. That's a feature I really appreciate. So the mattress to them has a comfortable feel that balances support and cushioning well. It expanded properly after unpacking and was ready to use without any issues. Of course, it's still early, so I can't comment on long-term durability, but there first impression is very positive. I iam absolutely thrilled with this 14-inch hybrid mattress! Right out of the box, the setup was an absolute breeze. It expanded perfectly and immediately felt high-quality. The balance of support and comfort is exactly what I was looking for. I used to wake up with lower back tension, but the zoned pocket coils keep my spine perfectly aligned. Plus, my partner tosses and turns, and I don't feel a single thing on my side of the bed anymore.The cooling technology is the real deal. The top fabric feels instantly refreshing to the touch, and the gel memory foam does an amazing job of dispersing body heat so I never wake up sweaty. It cradles my shoulders and hips perfectly without making me feel "stuck" in the bed. I also love that the edges are reinforced; you can sit right on the side without sliding off, which makes the whole bed feel much larger. I will say that if you're upgrading from a traditional mattress to a hybrid mattress, you will be amazed at how different they are. The first thing that I noticed was the lack of physical springs in the top of the mattress as there is a foam topping that sits on top of the springs. The mattress is designed to promote a cooling experience and I'll have to say that so far, even in the Florida heat with minimal A/C, I have not been sweating while asleep. I did make sure I let it sit for 48 hours before using and it was in its full shape after that amount of time. The Medium-Firm wasn't quite as firm as I wanted, but I also have a bad back so I prefer extra firm, but I've made it work for me. It is nice that this mattress doesn't sing in the center when lying on it, although the edges do sink a bit when sitting on them while getting in/out of bed. The arrival of my new queen mattress brought such excitement that I completely forgot to snap photos of it in its fascinating vacuum-sealed state! Believe me, I tried to capture its grand unfurling, but this mattress takes 'rapid expansion' to a whole new level. Unless you've got a camera crew ready, those initial moments are a comfort-filled blur! Thankfully, I did get some lovely shots once it was fully puffed up on the bed frame. While it suggests 72 hours to achieve full form, my patience wore thin after just 48 (who can wait when relief calls?). This mattress is an absolute dream! As someone with back, neck, and hip issues, I'm thrilled to report that after two nights, I woke up with my neck and back feeling fantastic, and my hip pain significantly reduced. This mattress is a queen size 12 inches thick. It comes rolled up in a box. It has individually pocket wrapped coils. after you take it out of the box, it takes about 2 days for it to fully fluff up and get its shape back, but it's super comfortable, it does not absorb your heat when you're sleeping, but the individual pocketed coils allows airflow to get through there. It's super comfortable. It is truly the size of a Queen bed.The sheets fit on there perfectly. I would recommend this and I would purchase this again.This one on our our extra guest room bed perfectly is a platform mattress.So you can set it on top of your old box Springs.If you do not have a platform bed or you can build a platform with some two by your's it is very easy, but it does not come with a box spring as is a platform type mattress. ... show more

I like this hybrid mattress in a box because it's so comfortable and good qquality. The hybrid mattress in a box arrives rolled up in a tube like box. I opened it up and let it sit for 24 hours.
