My dog lasted all of 10 minutes in his plastic cone after surgery and was miserable with it on. This item has been an amazing alternative!! He never attempts to take it off and does not seem bothered at all by it. He can move freely around the house and if he bumps into something with it on, he is completely unfazed. Truly a game changer for vet after care. Better quality than expected. He has had it on for two weeks straight and it has held up really well so far.

Edit: Despite having issues with the collar I had absolutely no issues with the seller. They contacted me promptly and we fully resolved the issue. It was as advertised and it did arrive on time and was a ready cute cone just not for my dog. Would definitely recommend if your dog was used to donut cones like this. :My dog went to scratch and collar attaching the donut too him broke. Within 5 minutes it was in the trash. Would not recommend. Not durable. Complete waste of money.

We were looking for a cone to protect our dogs after they had surgery and I will say that this was incredibly easy to use. We did love that it added a major cute factor to our already cute pups. Inflating the Device was fairly easy and it hooks just like a collar onto your dog. Our dogs did not find it uncomfortable at all.

I liked that the sizing was correct as I measured my dog’s neck. Her neck actually measures 21 inches at 6 and a half months and 60 pounds. She’s a Great Pyrenees so she’s already pretty big. This was easy to inflate and I like that the air valve has this trapdoor to help keep air in (make sure you squeeze it or poke it with an object and then keep squeezing it to get the air in). She’s actually sleeping an hour after introducing it to her (she was super hesitant about it just fyi). She hated the plastic cone the vet gave her after surgery and it made her more scared/upset. So I knew that wasn’t going to work. This one came literally the next day (not even 24 hours). The first time I put it on she did get it off but it was loose and I adjusted the collar. Now here we are, napping. I’m satisfied with it.

The quality leaves a lot to be desired. The loops keeping the inside collar attached ripped out of the seam in less then an hour Now I have a dog who is constantly trying to lick his wounds and is in danger of infection and or opening stitches What a waste of money

This collar is well made and was durable while it was on our dog. We got it for him because he was terrified when we tried using a cone on him when he had scratched his eye before. He's only 76 lbs but he is several inches taller than our lab and husky. I brought the cone and the donut to the vet when he got fixed. They said the cone by itself wasn't big enough to keep him from messing with things but neither was the donut. Fortunately, the two together were enough. It was pretty durable. If it was to stop him from messing with something closer to his head or to keep hom from scratching at his face I think it might have been enough to accomplish the task but not for recovery agter getting fixed.

I have a 100 pound shepherd mix rescue dog that is apparenlty super tasty to fleas. After a blitzkrieg level war of chemical warfare inside and out, defleaing for both dogs, two cats (omg ouch), I was left with a dog that had chewed a lot of fur and some flesh off his back end. I've used the elizabethan collars before and they don't stay on this dogs head. We tried and aside from constant adjusting, he also would battering ram the thing into my and that hurt a great deal. So I ordered one of these, the orange slice variant to give a try. It was super easy to size and clip onto him. He can get in and out of our xxl dog door without a problem and his back end is healing up. He can eat, drink and do most of his doggy activities except chew his butt to bloody ribbons. This is, bar none, the most effective and least painful to me collar.
