Me and my fiance decided to start working out together so we decided to get a couple of exercising equipments off of Amazon I ran across this setup bar for the floor where you can take it anywhere to work to family friends house in your bedroom and your living room and do sit ups wherever you're feeling comfortable at is very sturdy it feels like a weight but a lightweight you can lift it you can move it around you're not going to strain yourself you can twirl it with one hand but be careful it's heavy enough to cause a bruise it has metal at the bottom the lever is plastic but there's metal where your feet go to do your sit-ups the metal is covered with two cushy black protectors so you won't hurt your feet you place the product onto the floor positioning it where you want it to be lock it in place and begin your sit up here's the kicker it's like a suction cup that's right it's like a suction cup so it can hold on to the floor when you click it in place it's like setting up a phone holder in your car so imagine how disappointed I was because I have carpet in all of my rooms so the only way I can use this device is on the kitchen floor picture that you walk in on your mom doing sit-ups in the kitchen with Dad and they're both wearing matching yoga outfits and now they're friends are over and they're watching the exercise as well you see there's no privacy I even thought about putting this outside and locking it down on the concrete because that's more smoother as well however it's 100° too hot for all of that so until I find me well us a more stable area to do our sit-ups Maybe pull the rugs out the way in the living room I will let you guys know how my progress went I did test it out for a little bit there was no slipping as I came up it really felt like somebody was holding my feet as I was doing my sit-ups absolutely love this thing and I can't wait to use it even more things like this can get really pricey so I'm happy that I got it for the price that it is now ... show more

I'll start with the worst thing about this sit up aide, and work toward the best. The worst thing by far is that I I put this on my kitchen floor, and the suction cup was so strong that it raised a little circle on the linoleum. I had it on the floor for maybe half an hour and when I released it and picked it up, there was a rounded bump in the linoleum the size of the suction cup. I put some heavy books on it and it's almost flat now, but lesson learned. Be careful what floor you're sticking this on! Now for the good stuff, this was actually a great work out tool. It easily held my weight against it and the suction cup was strong and felt secure. If I could stick it to the smooth concrete floor in the garage, it would work just as well. Really strong suction and okay padding, it's kinda weak on the actual steel support but strong enought to actually support your weight when using it. Super easy to use and release the suction cup, honestly a really good space saver and really convinient to use.
