We bought the hoverboard without the seat attachment for an eight year old boy... and he was able to ride it almost immediately. It was very responsive snd he could start and stop and turn with no problem. Then one day it went out of balance and it was impossible to ride. The company sent re-balance instructions that WORKED and assured me they would replace it if re-balancing didn't work... and I was beyond the 30 day return window. That was an awesome way to make me comfortable and assure me they believe in their product. I ordered the seat attachment and he can zoom around on that with ease. His 16 year old brother is able to ride it too, so it is capable of carrying more then just a child's weight. It works well on the road, in gravel, and on grass. The media could not be loaded. We are a big fans of the hooverboard and when we heard about this seat we knew we had to try it out! Assembly was pretty straightforward and easy to do. It only took a couple minutes. Once we got it together you place the hooverboard under the seat securing it with two black straps. You sit down and get situated and then turn the hooverboard on. When you hold both handles down you go forward, if you pull both handles backwards you stop, if you only push one handle forward it turns you right and the other handle pushed forward turns you left. Overall very easy to use and is very smooth to ride. Tons of fun!!! We definitely recommend! ... show more

    • Good quality, buy extra straps and bolts!

Overall this product is great. The straps broke almost right away (4th use) but that was in previous reviews. The nut backed off and fell off of both bolts that hold it to the hoverboard so I had to pick up replacements. The kids love it and it's holding up fairly well the the 3 of them!

The media could not be loaded. This made our hoverboard better - really easy to use so the kids were not trying the hoverboard without the seat (until I pushed them to learn it too). Our 4 yr was able to figure out how to operate it pretty fast but did run into our garage door and dented it one time. Its very sensitive so if you push down, too fast and too hard, the go-kart will spin - the older kids operate it with no issues and everyone wants a chance on it. ... show more

My son wanted an attachment because his sister has one. We should have went with the same model she has because there have been zero issues with hers. We got this one in, put it together and right away I noticed it allowed his hoverboard to move all the way down which I was worried about and knew this was not something the other one did. Then just 2 days after installing the strap broke on one side while in use. The board then began to spin very quickly and he couldn’t stop. He fell backwards which stopped the spinning but he hit his head pretty hard on the cement and scraped up his back. Luckily it wasn’t any worse but now we’re left with a product we’re scared to even try again. ... show more

I got this for my niece for Christmas to add on to her hover board. Her board battery dies very quickly when using this attachment but otherwise it’s very fun to use and is easy to assemble.

The media could not be loaded. WOW!! This hover board seat is more than I ever wanted. Its so astonishing , and it only took about 10 mins to build. It has comfortable black handles, a awesome black seat, and is overall very sleek, and has little to none mechanical slop. Every time my son rides it around our parking lot he always has an outstanding time! It’s additional wheel makes it excellently stable. This was definitely a marvelous purchase.
