Description

For exact alignment of video tilt, gimbal and panorama heads or measuring instruments, the LE-60 levelling head is the ideal solution. If the tripod is not level because of the ground, this head allows the perfect balance to be obtained. The hassle of adjusting the tripod legs is no longer necessary with the LE-60. The LE-60 can tilt by up to 15° on all sides and the built-in spirit level helps to find the precise horizontal plane. Compared to a ball head, the levelling unit, with its flat, compact design, offers much more stability to the camera-tripod system.

Great leveling base that is very solid! When loosened it does not flop around at all.......just the opposite......it is pretty difficult to move! I actually found that tapping the head with a small rubber hammer (I know, sounds extreme but it really isn't) is perfect for making the tiny adjustments to fine-tune the level.     • Works well, easy to level but ...
Wish the lever use to lock the base was larger and afforded a better grip when trying to lock down the base. Stays put regardless but I don't feel like it's locked down because having to grip such a small lever for locking things down. One irksome item is the bubble level. There is certainly room for a larger bubble level. This one is a teeny tiny one. Something the size of what you see on the Acratech leveling base would've been nice. ... show more
