  • it lasted exactly 5 jobs with lumix gh5mii and zhyun crane2s.
I have returned that thing, 2nd aluminum lock from top just snapped, the leg base became loose after like 3 days. The base stopped to hold it vertically so it just lean either direction making it look like piza tower, really dangerous to put the camera with gimbal, setup was not super heavy, only zhiun crane 2\ 2s, and gh5 plus leica 12mm f1,4 with tiny light. I was also reading lot of positive reviews, and i still own old aluminium sirui monopod, also broken, but that one served for almost 3 years before one of the lelgs cracked. ... show more

  • Nice but....
Very nice with exception... It's heavy, heavier than I thought it'd be. Good construction and so far so good. It's tall enough for my use, strong enough for teh same reason.

  • Probably going to try a different model
Looks like someone put a year old monopod in a new box🤷🏻♂️ Tough to give it a fair review but the stripped threads on the lower feet attachment lead me to think they should have used steel there... but, that could have been previous owner error and over tightening. At least he/she tried to glue it in there😆 That doesn’t appear to have held either. ... show more

  • Well-designed, well-thought-out, well-executed
This is the monopod that YouTuber Levi Allen recommended. It is faaan-tastic! Great features: 1. 3 legs that adjust to 2 angles plus collapsed/travel position. 2. 3 leg part removes to create table-top tripod. 3. lower locking collar to make sure monopod is pointing straight up. 4. locking upper collar to allow/lock top for pan motion. Pros: A. Well constructed -- great for run and gun video on DSLR. B. Legs retract and lock easily. C. Comes with nice carrying bag. Cons: A. Weight is average I think. I also have an aluminum Bogen/Manfrotto 3216, which is stronger, but this Sirui is way more useful. B. The upper tube where you place your hand is aluminum -- should've been made of carbon fiber like I expected. ... show more
