I purchased this induction cooker, but I am disappointed. Its heating speed is pretty slow; it takes much longer to boil a pot of water compared to the previous gas stove.

This is fabulous! It looks great, so much so that I actually use it in the kitchen when the need arises. I originally got it to use outside for frying and cooking things that produce a lot of smoke. 1800W power is excellent, some cheaper units are glorified warmers, that can’t even bring water to boil. No such issues here. I still cannot get over how good the ceramic black top and white surround looks.

The first thing you notice when you turn it on, it gets hot really quickly. No waiting at all. That’s excellent. I wish it had temperature instead of wattage, but the wattage is good for portability. It is a little longer than I expected it to be. When it said single burner, I expected it to be a little more compact. I also like the handles, to carry it anywhere you need it to go. I like that it has set cooking controls for certain types of cooking, but you can also control the temperatures/wattages, manually. When you turn it off, it has a warning that it’s still hot, until it cools down. I’m really happy with this. Easy to use, to clean, portable, just like any other stove top you’d use.

This is a review for the D20 Ceramic Cooktop. One of the things I was able to cook, were some noodles. Water took longer than expected to boil though. It has multiple power levels. This is useful when using portable power in order to conserve energy. Also some foods shouldn't heat up too quickly, which is also another reason for the multiple power levels. The manual is not that good. Instructions seemed kind of vague, and I wish it included some tips for certain power settings and temperatures for cooking. Cleaning is harder than I expected. Especially when water get on top while its hot. A stain is left over and it's quite difficult to remove. The cooktop also has a standby mode before it turns on. The child lock does not prevent the device from turning on when the device is in standby mode. All a child would have to do is bump the "on" button to turn it on. Overall I like the device, but it needs a better manual. And the child lock needs to keep the device from turning on. Oh, also I think it should come with some kind of hard case. Its a little scary bringing it around outside without a proper fitted case.
