It takes 2x as long as my old kerig to heat up and it is loud! Like it's struggling internally to heat up. But the coffee comes out as it should and the frother works good. Recommend half and half instead of milk. Not much difference frothing the milk vs just pouring the milk in unfrolthed.

I hate to say this. I returned this coffee machine because I'm very picky about my coffee but this might be just right for you. First let me say this machine make's the hottest cup of K-cup coffee I have ever had. The timing though is a killer. It takes long to brew a cup of 8oz coffee. Timing gets even longer depending on the amount you choose. Here are my likes: Numerous different amounts of coffee choices Easy to use and choose them Strong brew button, Regular brew button Looks fantastic Great footprint on the countertop Dislikes Precision in the amounts poured. Ex 6oz is 7oz, 8oz is 9 to 9.5oz etc. Low wattage. This unit only has 1000 watts. If they had higher wattage they could get shorter brew times Brew Times: The more coffee you want the longer you have to wait. This wasn't an easy choice to make, keep it or return it. The excess water causes the coffee to taste weaker. For my wife it was fine. (I like strong coffee where she likes it a little weaker.) So I notice the difference and she didn't mind it. We both agreed it was the hottest coffee we ever had out of a K cup coffee machine period. We both agreed it does take too long and we aren't use to waiting that long. We both agreed it has a great foot print and looks really nice right next to our Nespresso machine. My wife was very iffy about me returning it and left it up to me, so based on flavor I returned it. If the amount poured was accurate to the choice made, I would have kept it. For the price it was that would have been a no brainer. PS I bought a Keurig for $135.00. Coffee wasn't hot enough, especially after using this machine and my Ninja that I am currently using which was $200ish. I just want a small good K-cup coffee machine with 6oz, 8oz and 10oz. Thats it. Small and sweet. Anyway, like i said. If you not fussy about 1oz more of water and can wait a little longer for coffee to brew then this machine could be just right for you. I was a kerieg owner. Kerieg use to have great single serve coffee makers but on the last year's their products have become trash and not worth the money spent on them. Thus, the reason I bought this coffee maker. After I have gone through 3 keriegs in the last 2 years it was time for the change. My review is based on the experience from a former kerieg user. 1. This coffee maker has a small removable holding tank. You get about 2 cups on a tank at 10/12 oz's. That is perfectly fine since I am the only coffee drinker in my family. I would rather fill the tank often than have stale water. 2. This maker does make percolating noise. Again I am fine with that. It's like the old days when you had to percolate coffee. 3. It has the option of registering brew or strong brew. Like I said I am a coffee drinker. I don't care if it's strong or mild just as long as it is black and hot. 4. It does take longer to make the coffee. About 3 min. This is because it has to heat up the water everytime. Since this does not keep water in a holding tank it has to heat the water before brewing. I actually like it better this way. Less worry of mold building in a warming tank. 5. The cup tray is big enough to hold a 16 Oz mug. 6. It has 5 cup settings. 4,6, 8, 12 and 15 Oz settings. Although, I only use the 12oz. Overall, I am pleased with this maker and it as long as it makes hot coffee and last for more than an average of 5 months I happy. Forr the price I can't/won't complain. If it doesn't last for more than 5 months, than again i will be looking for another single serve coffee maker. Kerieg is making nothing but junk anymore and charging way to much for it, so i am on the search for a quality low cost single serve coffee maker. As stated earlier, this review has been a caparison of my experience with kerieg. So far I am happy with this coffee maker. I'm still not ready to put my stamp of approval on it yet, but so far it's trending in the right direction. ... show more

Easy to use. Makes great iced and hot coffee. Love the milk frother. Light cream definitely works the best for frothing it gets the “fluffiest”. Definitely would recommend in comparison to other brands.
