I bought these for general outdoor use and hunting and am very pleased to their performance. Since I am sort of between 34 and 36, I went with 36, but would have been fine with 34 given them having some elastic at the waist. For a 30 length they seem a tad long. While walking in windchill weather down near zero and 25 mph winds, my legs were fine. Definitely wind proof and warm. Plenty of room to add a layer. Great pockets. I live in a Pacific Northwest ski town where the weather is usually wet. I like these pants for waking around trails and to the bar. The stretch is great and the taper on the legs keep snow out of boots without needing gators. They get a bit hot if you’re near a fireplace, but that’s not a complaint. ... show more

Wore these while hunting/hiking in a light snow with temps in the low 30s. Sat glassing for a couple of hours. Pants shed the moisture no problem. After about an hour I did end up putting on insulated bib overalls to help with the cold. True to size with just enough flex to make hiking comfortable but still seem very durable. I think these will hold up quite well making them a heck of a bargain. Even if they only last one season I would definitely buy them again for the next. AAA++++ ... show more

I ordered 34wx30l which is what I always wear. Product page said it was true to size, and the inseam IS 30" but the crotch is VERY baggy so the legs end up being too long. I walk on the cuffs if they're not rolled up. Otherwise they are warm and seem well made for the price.

The color was exactly as shown and what I was expecting. These pants retain heat so well. I let out a mean fart that lingered around for 5 minutes. Instead of it dissipating, the smell stuck around heavily enough it made me think I may have crapped my pants. Actually the fleece lining was just that good at retaining heat, it kept the stink lingering around like "ode de toilete." Highly recommended 👌 I wanted to add that the pants do have an extra 2" in length, but it works perfectly well if you're wearing boots ... show more
