I love the look of this thread as it has a bit of a shine to it and makes my designs look great but not too shiny! Used the White 001 to stitch out FSL Angels for Christmas gifts. Also used Simthread pre-wound bobbins! Love the storage box as it will be very handy for when I take classes at shops. They always include a thread net & a couple of pre-wound bobbins with your order. This time they included some stabilizer as well. Don't have issues with breakage or shredding in my BabyLock Solaris or BabyLock Altair. Price is extremely reasonable, too.

What a great embroidery thread!! Simthread is one of my all time favorite embroidery threads. I embroidered a lot with three embroidery machines at home. This is my business, and I appreciate the durability, the strength and the quality of this thread. I will definitely come back for more. You will not be disappointed buying this thread. Review for Simthread Machine Embroidery Thread 1000M White 001 + Red 800, with Storage Box, Polyester. This machine embroidery thread should be used on a single needle machine with a universal thread stand behind the machine. I would consider this a budget thread, as it isn't high tensile strength enough to use on faster embroidery machines, like a multi-needle embroidery machine. To avoid problems with breakage, you will want to use a universal thread stand behind your machine, as this solves a lot of problems with thread. You get to choose which color set that you want. The box is a nice touch. This set will give you extras of some common colors. The red was a nice Christmas red type of color.

I love Simthread. I have a lot of it in a huge range of colors, but when Christmas time is here red thread is used a lot. I'm sure I will never run out of red or white at this point in my life now. Simthread has all the important information on the base of the spool, so you know what you are working with, including the color number for the thread. I was using it yesterday to make some potholders as small Christmas gifts. No snagging, nesting or any other problem. The stitches looked perfect on each size. I would give the thread 5 stars but the plastic box they came in was bottom of the barrel. I can see that some thought went into the box, but the latch doesn't work well nor did it closed completely with gaps around the latch. Since to me, the important thing about this item is the thread itself, I gave it the best score I could while at the same time bringing attention to the box which is not a good box. I appreciate the opportunity to try this thread. Thank you.

Although black and white are not typical Christmas colors I wanted to use both in the same design. This fsl has beautiful dense wings. I used a 75/11 needle, used same thread in self wound bobbin, and slowed my machine a little. Simthread came through as expected. No breakage. The thread sheen is beautiful. My Solaris likes Simthread.
