I have used cheaper threads with no problem but will not go with a cheaper metallic ever again. I have slowed my machine and put on a metallic needle and this thread still breaks constantly. It is garbage. Going to go back to the more expensive thread that rarely breaks. Not worth the headache.

The thread looks good and I’ve used other Simthread with no problem. But this gold catches inside my machine and constantly breaks. I am unable to use it so a waste of money. Guess you get what you pay for.
