Great for embroidering scrapbook pages
This is literally one of my best Amazon purchases ever. I threw out the beads and whatnot that I wasn’t ever going to use, freeing up space for additional cards of floss in my main container. I use the floss for scrapbooking pages. I now always have exactly the colors I need, although I have definitely needed the extra colors not already wound into cards and thus wound extra cards (the kit comes with some, I so far haven’t needed more but well worth it when I do since I have lots of additional floss colors). I have had zero issues with quality (meaning tangling). The DMC numbers are on the skeins/cards so it’s easy to replace colors as needed. I’m just as happy with my pricey DMC replacement floss (all good since I used what I had up) as the floss in the kit. The overall cost was so well worth it! I’m writing this review as I pull floss for a Paige Evans Taylor project where I once again have exactly what I need on hand with my kit. If you do scrapbook embroidery and need to match lots of floss colors, this is a must have value imo.

Excellent Embroidery Kit
I was pleasantly surprised by this embroidery kit, which has everything a person would want except the fabric! There are a plethora of lovely cotton threads, both in skeins and on spools in the organizer, as well as a full grouping of sewing tools that will be useful for any hand work project. I am getting back into needlework and over the years have lost track of a lot of this, so it was nice to be able to pick up a kit that gets me started without running around all over the fabric store looking for the pieces. As I go along I might get some different threads and such, but this will get me started, and would be excellent for a beginner who is learning cross stitch, crewel work, needlepoint, or other hand embroidery skills. As a "one box" kit, it could also easily be wrapped as a gift.

Very nice thread
Bought this thread for my Free Hand Embroidery since 'J' fabrics closed and nothing near me. It came very nicely packaged the included accessories were ok. The thread is very nice quality it's a little bit more slick than dmc probably because of the polyester blend. It's great for my intended use not for my regular cross stitch and dmc. The storage box is nice and thick not cheaply made. Thread wrapped on plastic bobbins that can be reused when wrapping new skein included in separate package. Thread labeled with dmc number on bobbins and extra skeins. Color numbers smeared on some bobbins, 100 wrapped with 100 for backup. Bought this set for reason already wrapped!! Not sure if exact match to dmc but for my use of just picking a color it's fine. Nice color selection and for the price cannot be beat. Will be definitely buying more in the future.

Embroidery floss kit
This Embroidery floss kit is great! The thread is strong and the colors are wonderful. The container box holds them all quite nicely and they are already on the bobbins. Who could ask for more? But you do get more goodies to go with the colorful threads. I am very pleased with my "kit".

Love this little case!! My daughter asked if I could get it for her and she loves it. Started making bracelets the day it was delivered. TONS of string colors for making bracelets and other things. I didn't realize it came with so much extra string outside of the box. I use to have a box very similar to this when I was kid and I loved it. Great product, would recommend!!
