I was pleasantly surprised by this embroidery kit, which has everything a person would want except the fabric! There are a plethora of lovely cotton threads, both in skeins and on spools in the organizer, as well as a full grouping of sewing tools that will be useful for any hand work project. I am getting back into needlework and over the years have lost track of a lot of this, so it was nice to be able to pick up a kit that gets me started without running around all over the fabric store looking for the pieces. As I go along I might get some different threads and such, but this will get me started, and would be excellent for a beginner who is learning cross stitch, crewel work, needlepoint, or other hand embroidery skills. As a "one box" kit, it could also easily be wrapped as a gift.

I really liked this kit. It came with a great color variety and the floss is great material and is soft and thick. It doesn't fray at the ends like most floss and it seems like great quality. The pony beads a great to braid into your hair as well. Overall this was an awesome kit with an affordable price.
