These had me worried because I usually order a wide-wide fit. My feet are extra particular because the toes are wide, but not the heels. This is a brand I never tried, but I really loved the look of these boots. So after eyeing them for 2 months, I took the plunge. I got the taupe, which is a color that goes with everything. Now I may get a 2nd color as these are just so classy, and they fit like a shoemaker fitted these. I LOVE THEM!!! My usual footwear is roomy so my feet don't hate me by the end of the day. They do not like my thick socks, so I will get some more that are lighter for the summer. I am testing these boots with my only pair of thin cotton socks. I think that is why these feel so good. Best of all, they look so good while being so comfortable. These are versatile, too, so you can dress up or down. Since I don't go to fancy places, these will take me anywhere I want to go. These shoes are great looking, dress or casual for sure. Cushion felt supportive. Quality looks great and very easy to put on and off if they were a tad larger. I very much wanted these to fit, for the price these are great shoes. I am going trying to find one by them a but larger similar to order. These are pretty close in design to a pair I have had from Nordstrom for years for double the price. Fashionable shoe.. Come out with larger sizes! I wear an 11 narrow in most brands or 10.5, and with these I ordered an 11.5 to be a tad over after reading comments and they were very tight in the toes, it was a length issue not a width issue. ... show more

I usually wear 8 regular width. I bought these in 8W. I can barely get my foot in them. They are not wide width at all. They are nice looking shoes/booties but I don’t know if I’ll keep them or send them back. The arch support feels good. The shoes are so tight though. I bought these shoes because I have a similar pair that has worn out. Being a lifestride brand I really thought that this would be a no brainer purchase. These are the worst shoes I have ever purchased online. For one, they run small. So they were a bit snug. I never have trouble with sizing when ordering online so I actually had to check to make sure they hadn't sent me a size smaller. Despite being tight, I tried them for one day at work thinking they would loosen up. I couldn't even make it the whole day. I ended up going home at lunch to change out of them. They just don't bend with your foot. So it is almost like walking in a wooden shoe but it bends enough and is stiff enough that it actually hurts the top of your foot. I have never returned a pair of shoes on Amazon, especially after wearing them for a period of time. But these shoes are definitely going back. For $40 I expected much more. ... show more
