I got this as a gift for my grandfather but just ended up keeping it for myself. For me it was easy to connect to my wifi but I don’t know if it’s because of my wifi or the device that it keeps on disconnecting but I don’t really mind. It’s easy to send my pics to the device and I like that when I turn off my light to go to bed it dims the photos or it shows a clock which I really like! These are v easy to set up, and once set up even easier to use. I have an elderly family member who is not particularly Internet savvy, but she has no trouble using the Smart Frame. Now relatives all over the world send her photos, and it is simple for them. All they do is send it to the SmartFrame's unique address. Quite safe too. If you don't recognize the email address, don't accept the pictures, and if you accidentally do accept, it is easy to undo and block. Picture quality is great. I got one for myself to make sure I could have one in front of me if I had to troubleshoot with my relative over the phone. Now I'm also getting pictures from distant relatives. Super nice!

I purchased 2 of these frames. One for my Mom and one for my Mother in Law. Both were well received. I wish I had one for myself now. This is the technology I have been waiting for in a digital picture frame. I can send photos from anywhere to the grandparents frame directly through the app. It is very easy to use! It does take a little time to get set up, to get the app out to all of your family members who wish to contribute photos to the frames, but after that it is smooth sailing! These were worth every penny. I hope my recipients love them as much I do~ maybe someday will splurge for myself as well. In the meantime, I send photos to them as often as I think of it, it is a lovely keepsake gift that continuously updates with current photos of all of their favorite people and pets. Enjoy!

This was bought as a Mother’s Day present for my boyfriends mother. The only issue we had setting up is the fact that I had sent pictures by email prior to setting up my account for the app. When I went to register my account, I received error with my email already in use. I contacted Simply Smart Home. Received an email: “Unfortunately this is a glitch in our system with some emails being in use already. You will need to use a different email or I can escalate this to our support management team for further assistance in resetting this error for you!” Two days later, boyfriends sister tries to set-up her account. We did not realize that my boyfriend had been getting an email with the password sent to his email, because he is the one that setup the account for his mother. So long story short, the account holder of the frame has to give the other people the password. And you can not change this password, so store the password for later use if you get logged out.

Great picture frame for the price point. Opposed to other reviews. The picture quality is quite nice. Fast and easy to use. Mine did come with a set up manual and downloading the app was also quite easy. You can upload 50 pictures at a time then proceed to uploading more.. obviously others overlooked this. I have already uploaded over 350 photos without an issue. I do wish cropped pictures would fill the whole frame but other than that it’s a great buy.

The information provided on Amazon and the product website is grossly misleading. Stating you can send photos with “the Photoshare app, email, Facebook, or Google Photos” is completely false. You HAVE to install the Photoshare app on the recipient’s phone, and set up an account to link the frame and make it viewable anywhere, and to set up an email/account to send photos to. This SHOULD be a simple process. It could be. However, the iPhone app does not work at all. It does not find the frame through manual pairing or automatic pairing. We tried full factory resets, updating phones, everything. The required app had a 1.6 rating when we tried this. Others stated they had to submit help tickets to the company to get their frame to pair, with no ETA as to when the ticket would be processed. Why not fix your app? My husband and I bought three of these for three sets of grandparents for Christmas. Imagine our embarrassment and their disappointment when we began the setup process and were unable to get this “simple and easy!” product to work. Then we showed up at the next two grandparents’ homes empty handed. Completely unacceptable. Save yourself the time, money, and embarrassment and DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. We are returning these as I type this. How this has so many great reviews is completely beyond me.
