    • Definite improvement of stains and odor

I bought this product because of a problem on our hardwood floor. Cat pee leaked under the cat litter box and left a black stain that looked like a burn, there was also the inevitable smell. I don't know if this product was meant for a porous hardwood floor but it did work. The first time I used it, I followed the instructions and wiped off the product. This improved the smell but didn't do much for the stain. The second day, I scrubbed the stain and left the product on the wood without wiping it off. This improved the stain, but also slightly bleached the area around the stain. The following day, I soaked kitchen paper in the product and left it on the stain, tearing it into shape so the paper was only touching the stain. This made a significant improvement, however, it also removed the varnish on the wood. I scrubbed the stain and left the product on the wood floor daily until the stain was hardly noticeable. The finish on the wood floor is damaged but I can probably polish and wax it to improve the appearance. It looks much better than the black stain that was highly visible before. I was told by a wood floor company that the only way to remove a cat urine stain was by replacing the floorboards. This was a much cheaper alternative and, though not perfect, I'm happy with the result. ... show more

I purchased this because my puppy suddenly started peeing and marking everywhere. It works like magic eliminating any smell and my hardwood floors look really shiny after using it. However, the smell of the product gives me a headache every time I use it, additionally the bottle nozzle doesn't work properly, preventing the product from coming out correctly and causing leaks everywhere, the worst part is that you can't replace it ... show more

First, this stuff is awesome! I've never tried a product like this, I used to repeatedly use vinegar and water to clean up pet messes and Pinesol or bleach on the non-wood floors. I have a cat and a dog, both females and both with anxiety needless to say you can imagine how my house smelled. I bought this, cleaned my floors first, rinsed, let them dry then sprayed this on the areas they frequent. Let it sit for a five minutes. Dried the spots with old towels and I couldn't smell the dog pee nor the cat pee, went over the wood floors with oil soap and sat outside for an hour while the floors dried. Came in and I could BARELY smell the pet odors. I know it's floor cleaner but I decided to try it on my couch and put a couple of fans at it to dry and later I couldn't smell the cat pee anymore. I'm tempted to try it on the carpet in my sewing room nxt. (sorry for the long post) but overall I recommend this pet odor cleaner and I will also be buying more of this. 👍👍 ... show more
