I use these in my kids lunches. Fits a while bag of Ramen for an idea of size. Completely leak proof and meals stay hot till at least lunch time so about 4-5 hours. But I imagine would stay warm even longer. Easy to open as well.

I usually put some leftovers from the previous night into the thermos.. heat up in the morning (on a separate plate), put back into the thermos, and it is still hot come lunch time. I love that this is small enough to fit in the water bottle pocket on my son's lunch box. Food stays warm until his lunch time. The only con is that I had to practice opening it with my kindergarten son, but he can easily open and close now!
