I bought this specifically to fill with eggs, ham and cheese for a 6 hour flight followed by 3 hour layover where the food was not included. It worked great and the eggs were still hot 6 hours after putting them in the container. 1. TSA will have to look in this so have it out with your laptop. 2. Toss noodles or coffee/tea in this without water and get hot water on the plane for a meal or drink. Any option that you add hot water latter. 3. good size 4. I like it because the lid easily opens. My son was struggling with previous jur because can’t open the jar. Keeps warm , no leaking , dishwasher safe . But not wide enough , not very convenient to eat from the shape of the jar , eventually I changed it for more wide and horizontally shaped jar
