This is a very stylish thermos but only mediocre at least retention for solid foods. Yes I preheat it, but my lunch is barely warm several hours later. Zojirushi is the only brand I've found so far that stays piping hot all day... Wanted to try something new but it's just not that good... I bought this to pack my child’s hot lunch (mainly beans and soups) the container is air tight and keeps door warm for up to 6 hours. The spoon it comes with is compact and useful the only downside is the container does not have an attachment for the spoon so it’s possible to lose the spoon.

These are great. I bought 2 colors. They keep food very hot for hours, be careful. I quit using my iconic Thermos, I like these better. Only disappointment was that the blue looked like cobalt blue on the website but IRL it is navy.
