This truly keeps food HOT! I left my lunch bag in my car and the temp was in the teens that day. I came out 4 hours later to eat lunch. I was surprised. Utterly shocked. Not only was my food warm still, it was too hot for me to eat some of it. I don’t know why I was shocked, because their mugs are just as amazing. I’m keeping it at 5 stars despite one problem I have with it. The spoon. It doesn’t lock, so if you pull the spoon one direction, it tries to close on you. There also is no place to connect the spoon to the container. It would be nice if there was a spot on the top or side to attach the spoon. Purchased this for my teenager son as our old one didn’t fit enough food for him. I prepare his lunch at 6am and he eats lunch at 10:45 and he says it is still very hot. Perfect size to fit enough food for him. Fair price and it seems sturdy to last for a while. Easy to wash and I love that the lid doesn’t have a lot of rubber pieces to wash - and eventually get lost, like our old one. Very happy with this thermos! ... show more

I have no way to heat food for lunch @ my job. This works really good. Keeps the food edibley hot. The only problem is every time I unscrew the lid it falls apart. Not sure if the company can do anything to help with that? Maybe send me a new lid ? Will try to update if I hear back from them.

I got this for my daughter to be able to take a hot lunch to school. I boil water in the microwave dump it in there for like 2 minutes dump it out and put whatever heated up food she wants in there and she says at lunch time 4 hours later it’s still hot.. She has no problems opening it up (she’s in 4th grade) or closing it when she’s done. I’m happy she’s happy!! ... show more

I use this for lunch at work some times. I also lent it to my nephew a few times for school lunch. You just pre heat it with boiling water let it rest a few min; while you do that heat up your food in the microwave or once you've emptied and dried the thermos load the food in while it is VERY hot. Mac and cheese, soup, hot dish the food is still a little warm when I eat it 6 hrs later. ... show more
