They love having homemade soups or just spaghetti o's for lunch and these keep the food nice and hot and are the perfect portion size. I heat the food up in the morning at about 6am and they don't have lunch at school until between 11 and noon and their food is always still at the perfect temperature. Great thermos! Wish it was a little bigger. You can fit an entire can of chicken noodle soup in it, but not a whole can of ravioli's. Does the job well of keeping the food hot. We use this almost every day. It's very easy to clean, I usually handwash it just so I can use it again the next morning, have not tried dishwashing if that's even allowed. Finally have a matching Peppa Pig food thermos for my thermos bottle. Shipping was fast but it was just the thermos in a box, no bag or box to protect it if anything happened. My child's school doesn't have a way to heat students food so we use this thermos and it works great. We add very hot water to it while getting ready in the morning. Then we dump out the water and add in hot food to the preheated thermos. Love the built in spoon too

This is definitely a must have for packed, warm lunches. The kid has had this for over a year, and it still works beautifully. I fill it using this method before school in the morning and the food stays warm until lunchtime: preheat it by filling it with hot water from the kettle & let sit with lid on for about 10 minutes, open carefully & dump the water out, then put their heated leftovers/soup/etc. in it.
