This was one of the best investments I have made. I bought this for my son to have hot lunches at school. I put his food in this thermos at 6am and by his lunch at 11:45 it is still hot. While the food is cooking add some boiling water to the thermos and let it sit until the food is done. Then just dump the water, dry it out and put the food it.
