All the buttons work as they should and the programming was super easy, it definitely took multiple tries to finally get the timing of everything down, but you will eventually get it. The key fob looks like the oem key fob but it doesn't have the RAM backing to it which is fine unless you really just want it. I just did it in half of my lunch break. It works and is extremely easy; follow the instructions, and you're good to go. The quality of the key fob feels new, and it's challenging to insert and remove the spare key from its slot; however, I am sure this will loosen up over time. Other than that, the buttons feel responsive and don't feel like a cheap knockoff.

Works perfectly!! I programmed the fob that came with it and 2 other cheap fobs I found on amazon in less then five minutes! I would give this ten stars if I could! FORGET OVERPAYING THE DEALERSHIP OR LOCKSMITH!!

Purchased a programmer and 1 key . Not too difficult to program. Panic alarm was going off in the middle of the night and the key would not shut it off. After that, the buttons didn't work for the locks any longer. But the key still started the truck. I was going to order two more keys from Tom's key. In the meantime, I was going to try and reprogram the key that stopped working The instructions state if it continuously beeps to call the manufacturer . Unit has failed . The warranty states you can program up to eight keys and the keys have a 3-year better than OEM warranty. So I called the manufacturer several times. Left several messages . No one ever called back. I did eventually get through. Customer service said that the unit was paired two different vehicle IDs. I stated I've only used it to make one key for my truck. She was very rude. Told me they're not responsible. I would have to buy a new programmer and to call Amazon for warranty . So I found the Amazon retailer that sells the key and called them . Was on hold for 23 minutes and went to voicemail and they never called me back . These keys don't last long no matter who you buy them from. my plan was to buy several keys and use up the remaining programs that I had left on my programmer. Again, that unit has failed . I would like to purchase more keys from them and have them send me a new programmer and I send this faulty programmer back to them but nobody wants to take responsibility.

2017 Dodge Ram 1500. Worked perfectly, and was completed in a few minutes. Key currently working. Loses one star for instructions. It states in the begining of the instructions, there is a security tape on the programing device and if it is not present, return the item to the seller. The first one I received did not have the security tape. I did return to amazon without trying the product and received a new one in 2 days. But there was no security tape on the second one either. I went ahead and used it and it worked perfectly. Second there is a small very faint blue light on the key fob that lights during activation and pairing. The instructions describe the light being below the panic button. It was actually in the middle of the key fob. It is easy to miss if you are looking in the wrong place and it is light in the truck when you are programming the key. Otherwise, worked well as described and activation and pairing took less than 5 minutes. Lock and unlock buttons work normally.

I'm going to make this longer than I need to so, it all started yesterday when I went on a 6 mile out and back run and realized at mile 5.99 that my truck key (only one I had) was no longer in my pocket. Fortunately I found it only about a mile in. But it reinforced the need to have more than 1 key. I didn't really want to spend hundreds of dollars buying one from a dealership or even a local vendor and then my dad sent me the link to this. I was skeptical at first because I wasn't convinced it would be to sync to my 2015 truck and actually work but I figured I would just return it if it didn't work. The step by step instructions were great, concise and easy to follow. Definitely well worth the money if youre in need of a second key.
