Worked well. Install/ programming is not too hard. Replaced a key fob for a 2015 RAM truck. Recommend watching programming video first and using another person to read out instruction during programming also helps. Key fob still working after several months.

I was nervous when I got the key because the cover on the box did not match my layout but once I opened the box, it comes with a swappable face that replaced the original. The process of setting up the key took 10 minutes at most and worked perfect.

Instruction was clear and easy to follow. Worked right away after paired with my van. The only flaw I noticed was that it doesn't work at your first try when you use it after long term. I don't know how to explain this but every morning when I unlock the door, it doesn't work at first try. After that, it works great but only the first use in the morning or first use after a while it seems like it doesn't work... Maybe it needs time to recognize the signal? but this has been my case. SmartKey worked better than I expected. 3 x lock, truck starts right up with my "Startx remote starter", which is also greay and took...maybe a half hour to install. I didn't give a rating on customer service, 'cause I haven't needed them. Probably a great group of folks, hopefully I'll never know. would recommend without hesitation. Aside: "smart key" didn't have to give their product away for free in order to get good reviews. Followed the instructions and it worked perfectly. Also paired 2 other new FOBIK key fobs for my 2011 Ram. Saved me tons of $$$. Dealer wanted $340 to program 1 new Fob.

I bought 2, one for my RAM and the other for my Chrysler. This first one didn't have an instruction manual, and I almost didn't find the card with support directions. Naturally I started with this one first. The box describes the process as two simple steps. But each step has several... well, steps. :( And then it may just be me, but I get distracted by convoluted instructions. Don't confuse me by telling me how to fix a problem I am not having. KISS principal. Once I sorted out how to do it simply it wasn't hard. I now have a spare key and if I do lose one, I can easily make more, you just need one working key to start with. Not what I would call a bargain but still it is worth the money. :) ... show more
