Needed a second chair for the office for guests and didn’t want to spend a whole lot. Well you get what you pay for… chair seating pad is small for someone of my height, I’m 5’11”. I guess I should have read the dimensions it looks bigger in the pictures. My current chair seat goes to the bends in my legs. This one ends about 4” shy. Ended up putting it in my sons room, not worth the hassle of returning and for his room and his height 4’10” it’s perfect. The quality is really cheap too. Not really “comfortable” but it’s ok for what it is. Two of the screws stripped so I just ended up forcing them in with the drill and it holds. The bottom is a chrome paint over lightweight metal and the plastic painted chrome. Also the base doesn’t actually attach it just sets in so don’t grab it to pick it up or it falls apart, just roll it to where you need it. For a kids room it’s fine but for myself it’s not adequate… ... show more

This is a good chair, quality matches the price (actually quality may be better than the price point). Easy enough for someone not so handy to put together on their own. Raise/lower works really well. Only thing that’s slightly uncomfortable are the arm rests, they are plastic and not super comfortable BUT worth it for the price, I’m not needy when it comes to office chairs. ... show more

For the most part, I like the chair. The biggest issue I have with this chair is that it sinks down to the lowest level after sitting in it for about 10 minutes. I only weigh 215 pounds. This is ridiculous.

Very hard to assemble, I had to force it into place so I could screw it on. After a few months the chair started to tilt, it felt like I was falling to the side. After a year of use the gas that makes it stay up started failing. Sometimes when I sat down it just went all the way down, and then I had to pull it up again, and then it fell again. It is not the best chair.. but if your looking for something cheap this probably works. ... show more

I will start by saying I am not the type of person who looks for negative things in my purchase. I do enjoy 99% of the Amazon products I buy. However I think it is important to leave a review for this chair to warn others before buying. This chair is not worth the money, when you could get a better quality chair for not much more than this price. The bottom metal part connected to this chair continuously cuts my feet because they are shaven down poorly. The chair squeaks and wobbles and was not an easy assembly. This is months after using the chair. The chair itself is not comfortable. I had to buy a pad to sit on the chair so my bum didn’t hurt considering I use this chair to work for 8 hours a day in my home office. Overall it’s a meh purchase. I’m not pleased but I’m not so displeased that I won’t continue to use it. I am tired of cutting my foot on it. ... show more

Either these assembly instructions are not easy to understand or i'm just stupid. I'm probably stupid. Anyway, to make it easier on anyone who might decide to purchase this chair, here is (IMO) an easier assembly guide: Step 1: Insert caster wheels into the star base. (An audible "POP" can be heard when caster wheel is fully inserted) Step 2: Install seat post into center of the star base. Step 3: Using the MEDIUM sized bolts (25mm) attach the arm rests to the backrest. Step 4: Using the LARGE sized bolts (30mm) attach the seat to the arm rests. Step 5: Using the SMALL sized bolts (20mm) attach the seat base to the seat. (turning knob should be on the FORWARD part of the seat) Step 6: Insert the top end of the seat post into the seat base. ... show more

This product has some terrible tolerances when trying to fasten the arms of the chair unto the bottom of the seat cushion. This is very necessary as the cushions back two screws get all of your weight. The slot holes in the arms for this are not straight through. They are slanted which makes your screws slanted in trying to hit a straight female, threaded insert within the bottom of the seat cushion. I had to drill out the slanted part of these arms and go get new screws because the screws that came with it only barely made it into the seat cushion bottom due to the slanted issue in the seat arms. The ends of the screws stripped off. I would look at a different chair next time. ... show more
