I got this for when I have company since I live alone and don't need it all the time. It makes ice continuously. When it stops, or is running low, just add water. It is kind of big on the counter in my smaller kitchen, but I just store it when no one else is here. It is easy to use, not loud at all, looks nice and works as it should. I use filtered water so the cubes don't make anything taste weird. My city water is not good.

I had my doubts about whether this would actually work or not, and so far it’s been wonderful. We have questionable water in central Florida so we don’t want to even use the filtered H2O from the frig. We bought this, use bottled water, and it produces large and small bullet cubes. The noise level doesn’t bother us as we generally don’t stay in the kitchen. We also don’t run it constantly, just when we need ice. It also saves a lot in not having to go to the store for bags of ice, which we aren’t sure about the water they use either. It has more than paid for itself in 2 weeks with all the ice it has made. It seems to be very durable, so far great buy for the money, and easy to use. The ice quality is great, and it looks fine. We also bought this to take in our camper as going to the store for ice all the time is a pain.

We have had this icemaker for about a month, and it is working just as we had expected! It is simple to use and makes ice quickly! The cubes are smaller than expected but still a decent size! The cubes ( bullet shaped) are pretty wet when they drop, but when the bin is full we transfer to the freezer and they harden nicely. Because they are "wet" they will clump together in the freezer but we keep a scoop in the freezer and the ice breaks up easily. So far we are pleased!

I’ve had a portable ice maker in the past. This one is a little different. I wanted a small profile because I wanted to use it at a great boutique hotel that makes you go to their bar and request them to fill a small bucket. This was perfect. The size is small, but the ice capacity is great. I love the LED status lighting - attractive and useful. The water pump works extremely well. Works great and perfect for my needs at a decent price.

This ice maker is perfect for my apartment. I have a small fridge due to the space available and no ice maker. Living in Las Vegas I go through ice like crazy especially in summer and bags got expensive and take up too much freezer space so I bought this one. I love the size and efficiency. I can make a gallon bag of larger size ice in just a couple hours then make a couple batches a day up keep a good supply. It’s self-cleaning which is also a big plus!

I’ve had this countertop ice maker for several months. It’s dependable. Works as long as you keep the water level up. Makes new ice about every 6 minutes or so. Once basket is full, will pause until level goes down. Two size ice. I like the larger size. Makes a little noise when filling. Then when the ice drops. I empty when full to a basket in my freezer and keep the ice maker running. I also find myself supplementing my refrigerator ice maker to keep up with our ice usage. I call it wet ice until placed in the freezer. The ice maker will not keep your ice and will eventually melt. A good ice maker, for low usage.

Well, I’m surprised to be leaving a review. This is probably the best external ice maker that I’ve had. The special feature of this model is the variable float system. Once the weight of the ice brings it down, the basket lowers and melts faster back into the cistern. I was skeptical but I found it to actually make for a better design of the basket system. The only thing that ever bothered me was the heat vent to the left. Works great and happy with purchase!
