The silicone skin cover fit tightly over the myQ keypad. It provides a small overhang to keep moisture off the lens as well as help with any sunlight distortions. The fit should prevent moisture from the original unit. The only concern with this type of product is if moisture does get in, it will hold it and possibly cause mold/damage. There aren't any venting slots at the bottom. Button covers still allowed for appropriate touch and feel through the silicone. Overall, a good product that should last a while.

This silicone skin cover for the MyQ Video Keypad fits over the Keypad relatively well, to cover and protect the Keypad from the elements. It could fit a little bit more snugly against the front edges, as it sits slightly away from the front of the keypad. The numbers on the skin do not have any coloring so it's very hard to read the numbers on the buttons. I ended up using a sharpie marker to color in the numbers to make it easier to read. Since there are two different angles that you mount the Video keypad to the side of the garage opening, you have to get the correct skin or it will not work. I got the "Right side" cover which means the right side of the silicone skin is "taller" or sticks out more from the wall than the left side. If you're looking at the garage door from the street, it means that the video keypad is attached to the left side door frame.
