A great addition to our kitchen. My Granddaughter loves to bake but she creates a mess all over the countertop whenever she bakes. She especially likes to bake breads so flour and other ingredients are all over the place. I purchased this mat in order to provide her a specific area to confine her preparation and to assist her with measurements. This silicone mat was the perfect solution. The measurements for rolling out the dough for her specific bread or pastry are embedded into the mat. Aside from these amenities, the mat provides a non-slip surface on our countertop, wipes clean with a simple wash, and stores easily in a drawer or cabinet. It can be folded or rolled to fit the smallest space, and can even go into the oven for ease of baking cookies. The instructions read that the mat is oven safe to 400+ degrees but she has not used it in the oven. I bought this and I put it right on top of my glass cook top and I now have a great working baking surface. I rolled dough out on it very non stick. I LOVE IT .Helpful measurements on pad it adheres to my glass top and doesn't move making working with dough so easy. I bought mine when I think a small % was knocked off of selling price which made it even more attractive.. I took a damp sponge and wiped it off even with flour & dough remnants, it cleaned up super EZ. I notice this mat is thicker & more robust than my sisters one she bought from another vendor. This mat is very easy to us, stays in place even when you are rolling out dough. Cleans up easily and is very easy to store. After it’s rolled for storage the next use it opens up flat again. Great mat for rolling out cookie dough or pie dough. It pretty much stays put when your rolling out the dough. If it does slip a little I pit a wet paper towel under a corner and it helps. Higjly reccomend. Beats fighting parchment paper.
