- Table saw blades, circular saw blades, miter saw blades, contractor blades and professional level saw blades are a costly but a necessary tool for us to get work done on our woodworking projects. It makes perfect sense to keep them in the best possible condition so we dont have to keep buying new ones. One way to do this is to periodically clean them to get rid of the gum and pitch build up on the blade. Problem is, finding a container or tray to do this without making a mess.
- The Sili Saw Blade Cleaning Tray not only provides you with the perfect place to clean your saw blade, the side wall also conveniently raises upward to make sure that you dont make a mess while cleaning your saw blade. Made from silicone rubber, the tray wont damage your carbide tipped saw blades and you can use most any type of saw blade cleaning solution without worrying about damaging the tray.
- In the center of the tray is a rubber protruding nub that accepts a standard 5/8 arbor hole size that is found on most saw blades. A saw blade with a 5/8 arbor hole opening fits snuggly around the nub. This comfortably holds your saw blade in place and actually allows you to rotate the blade while cleaning. The nub sits on a raised rubber base so you can tilt the blade side to side to raise up one end while your cleaning.
- The inner diameter of the Sili Saw Blade Cleaning Tray is approximately 13 so it will easily accommodate saw blades up to 12 in diameter. When the tray is fully raised, the tray measures approximately 2-1/8 tall which makes it the ideal container to clean saw blades in. Typically a soft nylon or brass wire brush (not included) is used to clean saw blades in conjunction with a saw blade cleaning solution (not included).
- When you are done cleaning your saw blades, youll need to dispose of or even better yet, store the used solution in its original or new container for later use. To make this easy, the Sili Saw Blade Cleaning Tray features a convenient spout at the bottom of the tray to make transferring the solution into a bottle a snap. The tray also features a hang tab at the top for quick and easy storage.

This will work fine for how I clean saw blades. I do not submerge them in blade cleaner. I spray them down and let them sit for a few minutes before scrubbing them with a brush. I don't think you could pick this up and pour cleaner back into a bottle. I could be wrong but it is very flimsy. Again that does not matter with the blade cleaning method that I use. for me this works great, it keeps my bench top dry and that is my main concern. so for me it works. If you like to soak your blades there are better options available.

Bought to clean saw blades. Be careful what you put in it since the side walls have a tendency to collapse. If you use caustics it can potentially create a hazardous spill. I’ve switched to Miracle Green with reasonable results. Much safer to use than other cleaning solutions.

This rolled up in a nice compact size when not in use and is not going to chip the carbide tips on your blades like a metal pan might.

Works fine for cleaning my table saw blades. The box it came in is pretty stout, so I kept it to store the tray when finished. I haven't tried it yet, but it may have a second use as a 'silicone glue mat'. Overall very happy.

You can clean your saw blades without making a mess. You can save your cleaning solution with the pouring spout without making a mess also. Also clean your blades without it moving all around your table.

This tray works perfectly for cleaning saw blades, router bits, etc. The fact that there is a pour spout is a huge bonus. I would definitely buy again.
