I bought these prior to joining Amazon Vine. Seller Diablo by Freud lists these as "Diablo by Freud DS005SC Carbide Reciprocating Saw Blade Set (5 Piece) (1 per pack), Multi, One Size". This is a name brand, top of the line set of 4 different style tungsten carbide toothed blades ( there are 2 of the 6 inch nail embedded wood blades) in a convenient plastic flip top box holder. These blades perform excellently well when cutting. They stay sharp at least 3 times longer than standard blades. I used the metal cutting blade to blaze through 3/16th inch mild steel plate plus angle iron for over 10 feet of cutting with hardly any loss of cutting ability. Amazing! Sliced through almost as if I were cutting wood. The wood rough cut blades if used on green branches will do even better if you give them a squirt of spray WD-40 lube or silicone spray as the friction from sap and wood will be considerably minimized. Pricey but you get what you pay for with these blades! Conclusion: For your sawzall reciprocating saw (most any brand) you get best performance and cutting ability with a quality blade - this assortment is well worth the price.     • The only blade you ever need to know for the rest of you life !
There is no better to me these blades are bad to the bone ! Working around automobiles my entire life my dad would always use bed rail as he called it just the old metal angle iron that holds the ends together you know at the bottom . What the box springs set on well there high carbon steel they’ll dull a drill bit in just a second or two ! Best saws all blades I’ve ever bought won’t cut through more than two times n that bed rail dulls them out will actually pull the teeth off them . But wow the deoblo blades are wicked they will cut through more than 10 peace’s before you can tell it’s getting to them. You need a variable speed saws all and kinda run it slow to medium speed and you can see those teeth just eating that high carbon steel up! Well for me and working with alloys I know all the rest of cutting I’ll do will b child’s play to deoblo now they cost a little more but they last a lot long I’m very impressed with them I would buy 2 from the hardware store for 10$ . I found them from Amazon 25 blades for 63$ that’s a good bargain for what you get in quality and reliability! Also the peace of mind knowing there in that saws all box with it and not even bed rail stands a chance against them . I gave all my other blades to my cousins boyfriend and told him good luck he was just tearing down an old house! If you want a d good blade just buy 1 and put it two the test see how good it’s life is and how good it cuts and I beleve you’ll b sold I have used about every one shape size and form ! There’s not one of them can hold a light to these bades ! I’ve been taking the used ones very few you can figure ! I’ve been making knives out of them and wow they are razor sharp knives hold an edge really good and I just wish deoblo would make blades for every cutting tool there is because I’m sold on them and I beleve you will also! ... show more

    • These are great blades
Got tied of showing away cheap metal blades after cutting through half a dozen nails. Bought these to demolish my deck for a rebuild. Blades quickly ate through wood and metal. They are much thicker than usual and despite putting a bend in them, they sprung right back.

    • Best blades ever.
I do various projects for customers. Replacing kitchen faucets is one of them. When you work by the hour these blades will cost a loss of pay. It usually takes fifteen minutes to remove a faucet. Sometimes longer with all the corrosion and the lack of space under the sink. Now, with the help of a cordless saws all and the short fat blade from the kit, it takes less than three minutes to cut the faucet off from the top of the sink and the stuff under the sink just falls into the cabinet. The blades last a good while and though they cost you revenue they do save you from getting a stiff neck and aching back. I’ll have to start charging by the process not the hour. ... show more

Diablo by Freud DS005SC CARBIDE RECPROCATING SAW BLADES: These very aggressive multi- purpose Diablo Reciprocating Saw Blades come with a case to "PROTECT THE TEETH" ALTHOUGH I like the Idea of a good storage case for these excellent AND AGGRESSIVE GOLIATH PIRANAH TEETH--- the case lends itself to be converted into a HAND SAW HANDLE. The case handle fits well in hand although being plastic---the excellent basic case design seems to lend itself to become a great ALL- AROUND POCKET TOOL for small projects in the shop or camping. OTHER USES: REPLACEING my LEATHERMAN WOOD BLADE with the DIABLO 6" EXTREME METAL CUTTING BLADE! I seem to encounter many more smaller steel projects than wood. The T-shank design on the Diablo Next Generation Saw Blades may just be the answer!     • Worth the extra cost for carbide.
These are great. I needed to cut a trailer tongue jack and my regular blades were not doing it. I ordered these carbide tipped blades and made short work of it. I also tried them out in wood and they ripped right through. I ended up with a nice clean cut. They seem like they'll hold up if you take care of them.
